Today Saturday 27 January 2024, at Merritt Mall. I walked up to the kiosk today, there were no people just the woman - dark hair, glasses, working behind the counter. I very friendly said "good morning how are you?" Got ignored. I repeated again in a friendly voice "hello, how r you?" She looked up annoyed, doesn't greet just said "what's your order" I said good morning she stared back and I said you can at least greet the customers. I am absolutely appalled by the rude and terrible service and attitude she should not work with people at all! I was at this kiosk 5 years ago and I remember it having a different logo with very friendly staff. I'm so shocked today, I would never order here because of this women. Please employee people who actually wants a job.

I wanted a coffee that was suggested on my the board “peppermint mocha & whip”. I was charged $2.00 extra from advertised price of large latte of $6..30. I asked why and was told I had ordered extra flavors “peppermint & mocha”. I told her that on the board it showed that those two flavors & whip came all together. She said no and then said I was the only person who had asked that. I told her it was misleading. So she abruptly grabbed the board & put comma’s between the words. I did try to cancel the order but it was too late. The girl now was very perturbed . She abruptly put my cup down and it was luke warm (ordered extra hot) I lifted the lid and no “whip”. I asked where the whip was? She said “that’s an extra charge”. She also had no fresh coffee to give us either. Terrible service, terrible advertising & terrible coffee. No thank you. She also started fussing at me while I walked away.

I'm writing in hopes that the owner of this establishment will see this. I was there today just before 2:00 pm with my family because we just found out that you sell Indian River Coffee by the bag. We were very excited to purchase a couple of pounds here on the island since we usually drive to Melbourne weekly to get our favorite coffee.I stepped up to the counter that had no line and was not greeted by the young lady at the register where she sat, unoccupied. When I inquired about the coffee beans, she scowled and gestured to the sample bag on the counter without speaking. I then inquired further about price to which she replied "I'm trying to figure it out!", as she shook her head and rolled her eyes. Once she "figured out" the price, I then inquired about the size of the bag. She did not know how many ounces were in a bag of coffee sold by your business.Unfortunately, due to this uninformed, rude young lady, our plans to purchase one to two bags of coffee a week at Island Coffee and Smoothies have been cancelled. We would rather continue to drive to Melbourne where we are treated respectfully by well informed staff.I hope this review will bring about some extra training for your staff in customer service. We love supporting our small businesses on the island but this was absolutely unacceptable.

I also saw the last poor review, I was very surprised she had this experience, particularly because most of her questions were rather self explanatory. In any case, I recommend the Island Breeze!
