We happened onto this wonderful food at the Merritt Square mall food court !! We had the Gyros! wow!! Sooo good stuffed full with meat and veggies. The sauce was great! I would highly recommend this place if your just looking for great fast food!!
The food was surprisingly fantastic! We were expecting typical food court level food. This is as good as any Greek restaurant we've eaten in. The service was friendly and genuinely helpful.
Absolutely delicious Gyro! The 2 that were there are so kind! Too bad about atmosphere, so sad about the mall…
Mediterranean Gourmet, located in Merritt Square Mall's food court near the theater, offers a warm and friendly dining experience with delicious Mediterranean and Greek dishes. The owner, who runs the establishment, creates a welcoming atmosphere and takes pride in serving fresh, flavorful food. Customers praise the well-seasoned gyros, which are stuffed full and served with refreshing tzatziki sauce, as well as the gyro rice bowl that includes gyro meat, buttery rice, Greek salad, and several sauces. The restaurant is also known for its spanakopita, which is creamy and one of the best enjoyed by visitors. The baklava, made fresh daily, is a favorite dessert. The portions are generous and prices are fair, making it a popular spot for locals and mall visitors alike. Despite its mall location, Mediterranean Gourmet is a family restaurant that provides authentic Greek and Mediterranean dishes with great flavor and quality. The staff offers helpful service, and many customers feel like part of the family. The restaurant also offers vegan options like hummus, falafel, and salads with pita bread, appealing to health-conscious guests. Overall, Mediterranean Gourmet exceeds expectations, providing a delicious, friendly, and satisfying dining experience that keeps customers coming back.
