The internet wasn’t lying about this chicken sandwich it was great! Huge freshly fried chicken breast well breaded hot and crunchy, not greasy with solid but simple toppings. Seasoning is perfect with a little heat. Lettuce and tomato were very fresh. Reasonable price point and a great lunch spot. It’s a walk up food truck doesn’t look like much but somebody knows how to cook!

Beach view, casual food truck, and amazing chicken salad sandwiches. We go every time we're in the Mexico beach area. He says he's closing up at this location at the end of August '23. So get it while the gettin' is good!

Mr. G’s has some of the best food on the Gulf Coast, or any coast for that matter. During vacation, my family picks it up for lunch on the beach every day they are open. The chicken sandwich and steak taco are unreal. I’m from NC and all year I long for the week we are back in Mexico Beach to eat here again!

The view of the Gulf makes everything better. The last was rude taking our orders and there were biting flies attacking us the whole time! We have been here before.... However, this time... I was shocked at how we were treated. . . Not sure if i'll bring any more family to suffer. . .

Plan your visit around the days that Mr. G's is open. Go early, go often. Don't worry if you have to wait due to the crowd. It's totally worth it. We used to look forward to getting these tacos every summer before Hurricane Michael. We finally managed to be there last week when the truck was open. The tacos are just as good as I remembered. I judge all ahi tuna tacos on a scale of 1 to Mr. G's. The other tacos are also great!

The Fried Chicken Sandwich, what a game-changer! Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a kick of spice that makes you go, "Hey, I see you there!" It's got a bit of a zing, but nothing too crazy. Feels like a bear hug from an old friend. The Fish Sandwich, that thing was off the charts. The fish tasted super fresh and the spices they used weren't too much, they were just right. Every bite felt like I was catching a wave of flavor. It was simple, no frills, but totally hit the spot. The Baja Fish and Seared Ahi Tuna Tacos were perfect for beach munching at lunch. Just imagine sitting there, toes in the sand, chowing down on these bad boys. The fish was tasty, the tuna was top-notch, and the size was just right. Nothing like some awesome tacos to go with the sound of the waves and the feeling of the sun on your face. All in all, this food truck is a straight-up gem. Not only is the grub delicious, but it also just makes a great beach day even better. Wife and I and the kids all shared and enjoyed everything. This place was amazing. Will be back for more.

Oh my God. My parents were saying just how good Shannon and them cooked. 10/10 best chicken sandwich I've ever had. If you're in the area, go get you some food there! Amazing.

We drive to Mexico Beach to enjoy Mr. G's Smokehouse. It is essentially a food truck type place with outdoor seating looking out towards the Gulf in all it's beauty. Our day was clear and sunny but rainy days would affect the atmosphere. The food is excellent. My husband had an Baja Shrimp Taco and Ahi Tuna Taco. I had Mrs T's Crispy Fish Sandwich and chips. Definitely worth a visit for a quick and delicious bite to eat.

Got the Baja taco as recommended for the first timers. Kids got chicken and hubby got chicken sandwich. DELICIOUS!! The man running it is very kind and friendly.
I have never tasted food better than this food. Whether you like it soft and gummy or crisp and hard, they've got 'cha covered. The fish is actually from somewhere around here, maybe a river or bay or pond. Maybe a farm pond, I don't know, but, man, is it good. You will never taste a better fish taco anywhere else in the world, even Mexico. They put spices on there, I don't know. Some are hot and some are just spicy. They don't want to make them too hot because kids come here and might not like it. Bikers definitely like hot stuff so maybe they should come here!
We had the steak and cheese taco. Mr. G said it was ribeye he cuts up himself, "not like the other guys"! So we all 3 decided to go with that! And we were impressed! I asked if he would add lettuce and tomato, and man, was it good!! If you're around the beach and want some good food, hit him up!!

Owner is super friendly, view is great but the food is fantastic! Get the South of the Border taco when you stop by! Wish we would have tried them on the first day of our trip instead of the last, will definitely be back!

I got the baja and hubby got the south of the border taco and because it was out first time, the owner gave us a muther klucker taco to try!!! We got three more to go and will definitely be back. The views, food and friendliness were the best we had the whole trip!
