Dinner at The Fish was a disappointment. The menu looks fantastic, though the execution by the kitchen is not.... On this night, we were the third table in the restaurant. We ordered drinks and waited a good 20 minutes for two cocktails and a glass of wine. As said before, the menu looks amazing, and promises much in the way of flavors....unfortunately that was not the case. We started with Tuna Tataki. The food was very good. Was concerned we were the only ones there at 7 pm. Typical of all south beach restaurants, they charge too much for what you get served. No cocktails, only wine and beer.
I made reservations which weren't needed at all. It was only my husband and I and another table of 8 in the whole restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive. I think he was probably bored because he checked on us so many times. The food was very good - we ordered a Caesar salad, salmon, and the seafood risotto. The food was very good, no complaints just odd that the whole restaurant was empty (we went on a Wednesday night).
