What a fantastic staff of friendly people. We found this restaurant on trip advisor and wanted good seafood. They have excellent seafood and live music. You can sit outside and people watch or inside if it's too chilly. We had stone crab, the black grouper and their wonderful key lime pie. Nice wine selections and a lovely cocktail list

I had the encrusted Snapper and my friend had the crab tooped gouper. We were both delighted with our meals. We are still talking about it since we have returned home. She does not eat fish all that much but this dish changed her mind. Delightful atmosphere in the Art Deco District and the service left nothing to be desired. I will consider flying to Miami again just to have dinner there

Same for a Sunday night treat. There was live music throughout and the food was delicious. I had oysters and octopus to start and seafood pasta for main. It was all beautifully cooked and great service throughout.

We had not eaten anywhere on Ocean drive for years but had heard good things about A Fish named Avalon. It was sooo good! We all enjoyed our dinners, the wine and service from Richard. We will return again and again! We sat in the dining room, the patio had live music so it was loud. If you like live music you will be happy, though.

This is the sixth or seventh time my friend and I have traveled to Miami and dined at A Fish Called Avalon. Dining here is part of our annual tradition. Every time I choose the macadamia nut encrusted snapper and it gets better each time! The key lime pie will rock your world. We've had Alejandro as a server each time and he has been so kind and such a delight! 10/10 recommend!

My husband and I were staying for a few nights on Ocean Drive in Miami and after reviewing various restaurants we decided to book a table here for the following evening. We were shown to our table on the terrace straight away, (we had the choice of terrace, street or inside) we felt the terrace was a good choice as it was not directly on the busy street. My husband ordered the Snapper, which was really delicious, if he had to pick a fault it would be to say it was encrusted with nuts, A LOT of nuts! But overall was very good. I ordered the Branzino, again this was cooked to perfection and I would highly recommend it. The dessert, which we shared, was amazing, an apple tart with caramel sauce served with vanilla ice cream, an absolute must!! Overall the service from our waiter Alexandro F was very attentive and friendly. There was also a live singer with guitar that all added to the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!
