I had an absolutely amazing experience at Avalon Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, and Andrés made it unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. His energy was warm and genuine, and he truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us.
Andrés provided excellent recommendations, checked on us consistently without being intrusive, and made us feel valued the entire time. His customer service skills are outstanding — you can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does.
The food, the atmosphere, and especially the service were top-tier. If you visit Avalon Ocean Drive, ask for Andrés — he will elevate your experience to another level! We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 🌟

Had an awesome Valentine’s Day dinner here, with great service from Richard. First trip to South Beach and found this place to be in a league of its own on Ocean Drive. Highly recommend!

Bad service, very overpriced and food nothing special at all. Steak dry, nothing with it, pasta simple with hardly any taste. Wine is around 19 dollar per glass.

We throughly enjoyed our visit there. The food and staff were all excellent!

Dined solo and was treated like an afterthought while staff focused on larger tables. Service was poor and inattentive. The automatic service charge wasn’t clearly disclosed, which resulted in tipping twice. The mussels special was chewy, tasted frozen, and drowned in a heavy cheese like sauce instead of a white wine sauce. Not worth the price or the hype.

Here the gratuity is added to the bill. But the specials weren't told to us and the waiter was largely indifferent. Good food and people watching made up for it.
Disappointing. The food was average at best, some things very salty and everything covered in heavy sauces. My friend ordered a drink and when it was brought out, a pen was in it instead of a straw. When we pointed it out there was no apology from the staff. They did bring a new drink but didn't comp it and acted like it was no big deal. For a highly rated restaurant we were disappointed.

We come to South Beach occasionally, but we always come to ....Avalon! Wonderful meal, delicious flavors, top notch chef! Award Winning dessert, fully justified. Extensive wine list, delight cocktails & superb service. Five star experience, every time!!
What a fantastic staff of friendly people. We found this restaurant on trip advisor and wanted good seafood. They have excellent seafood and live music. You can sit outside and people watch or inside if it's too chilly. We had stone crab, the black grouper and their wonderful key lime pie. Nice wine selections and a lovely cocktail list
