Food is very bad shouldn’t depend on reviews everything is sweet and we ordered fish its very salty. Nothing tastes good even though rating is more because they are coming and asking for review before the food is arrived forcefully.
And gratitude is 18% for no count of members even less or more

One of the best Indian restaurants in South beach, Miami, FL area. Biryani's and chicken appetizers are worth trying. The vegetarian options were not too bad. The owner was very friendly!!

We were preparing to leave Miami and head back to Tampa, but before starting our journey, we wanted to enjoy a good lunch. After searching for nearby restaurants and reading some reviews, we decided to dine at Akash Miami Beach, which appeared to be a promising choice.

We were fortunate to find parking right in front of the restaurant, making it convenient for us to head in. Upon entering, we noticed the restaurant was nearly empty, and we were promptly seated at our table.

Since we had an infant with us, we ordered Dal Tadka with Rice specifically for him, along with a Mango Lassi to accompany the meal. For the rest of us, we ordered a variety of dishes, including Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Malai Kebab, Kadhai Chicken, Akash Chicken Curry, Garlic Naan, and additional Mango Lassi.

The service was quick, and we first received the Dal Tadka with Rice and the Mango Lassi. The Dal Tadka was flavorful and comforting, resembling home-cooked dal, which made it perfect for our infant. He enjoyed it thoroughly. The Mango Lassi was refreshing--not overly sweet, which suited our taste preferences perfectly.

Next, we received the appetizers, which included Chicken Malai Kebab and Chicken Lollipop. The Chicken Malai Kebab was a highlight--tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with a rich and creamy taste that we thoroughly enjoyed. However, the Chicken Lollipop fell short of expectations. It was overly colored, leaving red stains on our hands, and the flavor did not make up for its appearance.

Finally, the main course arrived, which included Kadhai Chicken, Akash Chicken Curry, and Garlic Naan. Unfortunately, both chicken curries were disappointing. The dishes were overly colorful, and the flavors seemed off. It was evident that the tadka (seasoning) made with onions and tomatoes had not been properly cooked, and the use of tomato sauce as a shortcut was apparent and concerning. The lack of authentic taste and preparation was a letdown.

While the Dal Tadka and Chicken Malai Kebab stood out as enjoyable, the rest of the meal did not meet our expectations. The excessive use of coloring and underwhelming flavors in the curries overshadowed the dining experience.

Mandatory 18% gratuity for an average service? We were only two adults and a kid. You might want to list this in your menu. Only in Miami so no surprise there. This business can’t survive in DC, NYC, or LA.

If you’re willing to put up with some disorganization and tomfoolery on busy days it’s worth it because they do have great food. We had to wait a decent while because they accepted too many customers and couldn’t fulfill orders in time. They were blasting Christmas trap music and in my professional Indian opinion they should blast Bollywood music. Seriously the food was great though. It did take a while for the food to come though but owner was nice and our order was forgotten once so it’s got pros and cons. Thank you for listening. Goodbye

It was a good experience. There was a slight delay in food delivery however, the food taste was good. The owner made the experience more pleasant and ensured we were treated well. Please visit this place. It is worth the money.

Food is ok. We ordered Medium and it was Super Spicy food. We were told that we should have ordered Mild because their Medium is what they served. Did not live to expectations and nothing was done to fix the food. Kids came back hungry. Could have been better but the attitude was not customer friendly. Take my advice and spend your money elsewhere
