The new band that started today was phenomenal. I’m visiting from WA state and all I wanted was to dance to Spanish music. My friends left because they didn’t think I’d find it. Then 3minutes later I FOUND THEM! Loved it

They knew we were coming in a large group, but didn't prepare. Called ahead for 17, said they would be able to accommodate us. but failed to mention they were not staffed for this. The service was incredibly slow, we sat for over an hour before we got drinks, it was hot and crammed. And we were spread in a way that excluded part of the group to another area.

We have visited Miami on several occasions, but regrettably, we never found the opportunity to experience this particular establishment. This was indeed a significant oversight, as this venue is truly magnificent. The ambiance inside is delightful, complemented by a beautiful interior design. We chose to sit on the rear terrace, which offered a pleasant and undisturbed setting. We were pleasantly surprised to meet a server from our home country of Kazakhstan, which brought us much joy. The food is exquisite, and the cocktails are exceptionally flavorful. The portion sizes are generous. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Furthermore, and perhaps most importantly, the water served was of excellent quality, unlike the unpleasant taste we have encountered elsewhere. We are certainly looking forward to returning on our next visit.

We had an amazing time at Azteca Bar in South Beach! Eduardo, our bartender, was absolutely exceptional—super friendly, attentive, and made the experience unforgettable. The music and atmosphere were perfect for a fun night out, and the tacos he recommended were delicious. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

For those that don't know, Florida and Miami have a very very low Mexican immigrant population compared to LA and Texas. This is not authentic Mexican food in any way. The tortillas aren't right. The salsa isn't right. Nothing is remotely spicy. The margaritas aren't right. But yes it's pretty good food when everything else is closed and the atmosphere is good.
For European tourists who have never had Mexican food this is admittedly somewhat close. But Miami is dominated by Cuban, Argentinian, Colombian, Haitian, Uruguayan immigrants. Not Mexican.
I would suggest you try Cuban, Colombian. Haitian, Uruguayan food while visiting Miami. This is NOT the place to try Mexican food. Go to Texas or LA or Mexico for that

I saw one review by a guy who claimed he was from San Diego but when you click on his review history his only review is for this place. No one from San Diego would say this is amazing Mexican food.
So take it for what you will: a south beach restaurant cos playing as Mexican open 24/7 to cater to drunk tourists. You could definitely do worse..the food is pretty good. I just want to reiterate that it's not authentic Mexican food at all
