We, all 14 of us, ate at a small Italian/gourmet pizza place on 11th very close to Ocean Drive on New Years Eve night. The food was high quality and delicious. We ordered an assortment of Neapolitan pizzas and pastas - all excellent! Everything was made fresh and came out to our tables hot right out of the oven. Satisfying the hunger of 14 people with diverging tastes is difficult but they accomplished just that. But this is not the whole story. While a lot of establishments were booked or unaccommodating, the hosts at Bacco and Venus rolled out the red carpet for us hungry and tired tourists. Because seating was limited, they "closed" the store for us, accepting only take-out orders while we dined. They definitely did not have to do that as they had a steady flow of customers that night, but they surely bent over backwards. So in summary, if you're looking for a great place to eat and don't want to deal with some of the overly pretentious or commercial places in Miami Beach, stop by this establishment. Well worth the visit!

So far one of the most authentic italian kitchen in South Beach. The food is so tasty and the price are excellent. I highly recommend bolognese lasagna but the pizza is also unbelievable.

Authentic Italian food and a really lovely atmosphere. We travelled here to Miami South Beach for holidays and it is fantastic. The food is remarkable. Especially for families. I really recommend it. Prices are affordable and the service are second to none.

Authentic, authentic, authentic. Had lasagna, pizza and ravioli. All great but ravioli was to die for. Husband hates ravioli but has now converted based on his experience at Bacco and Venus. Cute, cozy establishment with phenomenal service. A couple from out of town sat next to us and we overheard they were visiting the restaurant again as their last meal before departing. Their first experience was that memorable. So was ours. And the tiramisu.... yum, yum, yum.

This was truly authentic Italian food. We were in a party of 3, one of whom is Italian. We were all impressed. The pizza was superb and the prosciutto was extraordinarily fresh. And the gnocchi and the sauce were exquisite. The chocolate mousse was perfect. Incidentally, the difference is that the owner and chef is actually Italian!

I found this charming little Italian place by walking around south beach. I had the pesto lasagna which was delicious. I finished the meal with a perfect Italian espresso. Very friendly service and very tasty Italian food. Will be back
