Our server was so sweet, but she was extremely busy. When we asked her if she was the only server (because we hadn't seen anyone else) she said that she was covering the whole dining room and outside tables by herself until 7 p.m. Clearly there was a staffing issue, and she handled it with grace. We had a boat tour reservation to catch, and still managed to make it out on time. Overall, the food was excellent. I wouldn't recommend the grilled octopus, but the gluten free rigatoni alla vodka was some of the best I've ever had. Very flavorful. The drink I got, La Nuvola, was the perfect combination of a Lychee Martini with a tropical twist.

Food and service were awesome. Noise level was low but not to the point where you felt bad having a normal conversation. Next time we are in the area definitely going back.

Good food yet dishes had too much stuff. Example, the skillet chicken had too many mashed potatoes. The rigatoni pasta had hot peppers and no one told us. The 1st course arrived with entrees at same time yet it was cold. The wait backup staff does not understand how to clear table and leave it looking ready for next guest. My wine glass was moved to clear my plate yet busser left table without moving it back. The next table near us was cleared yet chairs left ajar around it. Way More Training is required. The outdoor lights on building too bright; need to switch to warm tone and add dimmers . Basically good restaurant which needs greater attention to details and service standards upgraded.

First bad sign was the phone number listed online for the restaurant was non-working. Once there, the hotel lobby had a very strong overwhelming smell of disinfectant which carried over into the restaurant. Restaurant offers a Happy Hour food/drink menu which was limited to beer, wine and some specialty drinks. When my second beer arrived I was told I had received the last beer glass with my first beer. We had to ask for a second food menu and also had to ask about the food specials. We had the bruschetta. Spaghetti carbonara, and the meatball salad. The food was good, not great. Based on the Google/Yelp ratings I expected a little better. If you dine here, be sure to check your bill. My Happy Hour beer that was supposed to be $6 were charged at $8.

Outstanding food and service. Pastas were cooked perfectly and the sauces were excellent. Only negative was the bread service was small and should have been included in the meal.

The food was outstanding! Maybe the best rigatoni alla vodka I've had..the broccoli rabe was delicious!!!

A much better choice than the overpriced South Beach restaurants—reasonably priced, high-quality food with a perfect atmosphere. The pasta has a refined, exquisite style and the flavors are outstanding. I went on a Sunday at noon and it wasn’t crowded at all. A wonderful spot to relax and enjoy excellent pasta and drinks.

I had an amazing experience at Bar Luca. I stopped in for happy hour. My bartender Jensine was super sweet and bubbly. She provided great customer service and was super knowledgeable about the menu! I ordered the wings and they were literally falling off the bone and super flavorful. My cocktail was amazing as well. I am looking forward to coming back!

By far the highest quality food for the price that we encountered while vacationing in the area.

i thought and hoped it would have been better. The bread was okay, would not order again as well as the octopus which was very tough. The Rigotoni with vodka sauce was average. The other guests had the chicken and it was fine. Ill go back to try the pizza, but overall average at best.

Best “neighborhood” bar and restaurant on Indian Creek. If you are just visiting, this spot is so much better than the hotels one block away on the beach. Angela the bartender is a gem. Super nice and a wonderful mixologist. The steak churrasco and chicken churrasco are both amazing, and they’re famous for their wings, burger and steak sandwich.

My friends and I loved Bar Luca! Low key vibe with great ambiance, music, decor and service. Delicious crafted cocktails, friendly attentive service and yummy Italian food! We appreciated the description of entrées, portion size and presentation. Good value for quality. Highly recommend this eatery!
