We were pleasantly pleased with the food. The manager is awesome very personable. We had a great waiter. Then he was taking away from us. But, all the waiters and waitresses very attentive. Given the restaurant an A 100. The small plates very delicious. The dessert olive cake outstanding.

Carmen the waitress was not friendly, not helpful, never once checked on us to pour more wine or ask how the food was. She even came and picked up the menu from the table without asking if we wanted to order another tapas. We had to go inside to get the bill after sitting for 15 minutes waiting for it. The sad part was we watched the table across from us have to do the same thing. There were only 2 tables outside and maybe 2 inside with guests eating. We loved this place last time we were in Miami which is why we went back. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Recommended from Andrew P at the W South Beach, he definitely gave us the right call! We walked right into the restaurant and felt a European vibe which was fantastic! Everyone was dressed for dinner, the energy throughout the room thanks to the soccer matches being viewed made it palpable, everyone was happy and it made it so fun just from watching. We sat to eat and we ate, the tomato bread with Manchego (2 orders), grilled shrimp, lamb chops, olives, steak tartare and burnt basque cheesecake. Great server, great food, again everything!

Cruisin' around South Beach on The Trolley and saw this place and decided to give it a try. Absolutely wonderful! Great food, with some very traditional & yummy Spanish favorites, terrific service, a very cool vibe to the restaurant and a great patio that I would love to dine on when it isn't raining.

It was our first time to Barceloneta. We were expecting some kind of genuine Spanish/Catalan food, particularly tapas, but the menu was so weak with few options. The food was not extraordinary and not well presented. Overall it was an disappointment.
