Our visit there was a memorable experience that will never be forgotten. The atmosphere, the staff and the food was awesome but the presentation in which your food is served to you is phenomenal. Never seen anything like it and I have traveled a great deal. Everyone should treat themselves to Barton G at least once.

Family friend suggested it so we were willing to try it. After looking at the menu and trying to decide if we should get the Go Big or Go Home based at $90/person with a upcharge of $50 if shared so we chose to do a la carte. Settled on ribs, mac n cheese and devil eggs. Eggs were not good and I should have sent it back since the waitress said if we didn't like anything to let her know. Ribs and mac n cheese was good. Besides being overhyped and very expensive our food did come out faster than I expected. That being said the food should be the main selling item not the props. While being nice we weren't there to eat the props. I get the concept but in my honest opinion I could have saved my $118 and went elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. I can say giving the advertisement/photos I can see why people come here. I'd recommend go for the experience but not for the overpriced food.

This is one of those Miami Beach restaurants that you have to experience at least once. I'm speaking price aside because you can go out to eat anywhere, and it's overpriced, especially in Miami. However, the food was great, and of course, the presentation went above and beyond. It was a little excessive, but I loved it for a birthday dinner. It is also kid-friendly, and they loved the experience too. Overall, would recommend if you're looking for a fun time for a special occasion!!

I made a reservation for two to celebrate my partner's birthday, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The service was exceptional and welcoming, with a clear LGBTQ+ friendly atmosphere that made us feel comfortable and celebrated. Our server, Michael, was outstanding, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely personable. He provided thoughtful recommendations for both food and drinks, and even offered to take photos for us to capture the special moment. His demeanor was warm, professional, and effortlessly funny, which added a personal touch to the evening. If you visit, definitely ask for Michael, you won't be disappointed. The overall dining experience was incredible. The birthday girl was thoroughly impressed, and we both loved the beautifully presented dishes and the high quality of the food. We'll definitely be returning!

⭐ 1-Star Review for Barton G. Miami Beach (Visit: May 3rd)

I would never, ever return to this restaurant — and I want others to know just how bad the service was.

We came on May 3rd with a group of 12 and spent over $3,800 expecting a great experience. The theme and presentation were impressive, but the service was truly awful. After dinner, we ordered several desserts including a cake, which the waiter sliced and served — and three guests found hair in the cake. The waiter witnessed it himself and confirmed it.

We asked for a manager, and she didn’t show up for over 35 minutes. When she finally arrived, instead of taking it seriously, she dismissively asked, “Where’s the hair?” — like we’d still be holding onto it. Even with the waiter backing us up, she refused to comp the cake or take any responsibility. A small gesture like that would have meant something, especially considering how much we spent.

The way we were treated was rude, careless, and unprofessional. If this is how they handle customer concerns, I strongly suggest you spend your money elsewhere. Barton G. is all show, with no substance when it really matters.

Came to location due to recommendation and called and asked if reservation needed was told no, gave dress code information, etc… get there at 745 and Mgr Nory stopped and stated no more people .. had sarcastic attitude, says she has 7 steaks left and they are closed on Sunday… advised I called and was told I could come in and her answer was that they made decision at 5pm but I called at 6pm.. not good business, came to visit Miami for birthday and decided to come this restaurant… very disappointing!

This restaurant was once spectacular, just like their website touts but now it is extremely old and worn out. The food is basic. The service was fine but management didn’t care. I was expecting Hollywood and Disney and all I got was a traveling carnival. No wonder they are closing

Opentable Diner

I took my wife, son and three friends to Barton G on 7/2/25. It had been over a decade since we last dined there, but the half a dozen or more times we had set our expectations high. What we experienced was so horrible that, for the entire ride home, all we spoke about was how bad the food was and how massively disappointed we were. While we expected to pay $150-$200 a person, we did not expect: The lobster (which was in four of our dishes) to be old and flavorless, The food to come to the table cold or barely warm, The pasta to be over salted, The meat to be under flavored. We were so disappointed, we left without ordering a desert for my wife's birthday. When I told the manager about the above, he said, the lobster was fresh (maybe bought today, but not fresh), the chef was sick (I think), and "sorry". After signing an $800 bill that felt inadequate.

All 3 times I have visited I give 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. What a super cool, fun way to order food & drinks AND be entertained not by entertainment but by the way the food & drinks come out! You definitely pay for the experience as it can be a little pricey BUT what do you expect, it’s an experience! Each time i’ve been the food & drinks have been amazing. We’ve sat inside & out, both are a vibe. If you’re in the area and celebrating ANYTHING, whether it be LIFE! A BIRTHDAY! FRIENDSHIP! AN ANNIVERSARY! Or TREATING YOURSELF, I recommend going! A reservation is a must!!!

The restaurant was beautiful. I love the food themes. We came on a eeek where a lot of menu items were unavailable due to them making upgrades. I feel like the staff didn't have enthusiasm when they brought out the presentations. It was very much, bring you the presentation, walk away. I would come back again with another group once they finish whatever it was they were working on. This place is pricey but it's very good for content. The steak was good also

I was so excited about coming here but the quality of the food I could get at outback or local restaurants in my area. Oh and when they turned on the lights the seats were filthy and the tables underneath were disgusting.

They rushed us out of the restaurant I got a text at 9pm saying we should arrive early and my reservation was at 915pm As soon as we sat down the waitress told us we needed to order our food by 930pm since the kitchen was cooking. The food was amazing as well as the presentation. But we were done eating and chugging our drinks by 9:50pm. The waitress kept coming over asking if we were done and if we wanted another drink by 9:40pm then came back at 9:50pm asking for the check. Meanwhile people around us were still getting their food and people were still coming into the restaurant. Extremely poor service, wish we could've stayed longer and really enjoyed the experience instead of being rushed out of there within under an hour.

Dining at Barton G. is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The presentation of the food is absolutely what you are paying for... each dish arrives like a showstopper, beautiful, whimsical, and full of surprises. But it's not just about the visuals, the food is actually very tasty, too. I would gladly order it all again. The service was also excellent. Staff were attentive, friendly, and contributed to the overall fun atmosphere of the evening. The only downside for me was the noise level. The music is extremely loud, which makes it hard to have a conversation without shouting. And with everyone doing the same, it only adds to the volume. That said, I still recommend the place, just maybe not for a quiet date night. It's perfect for a celebration like a birthday or a bachelorette party, where you want energy, excitement, and unforgettable moments.

Very disappointed with my experience here. My friends and I were so excited because of the videos and photos we saw, but sadly they were out of every dish on a Friday night at 8pm besides pasta and steak. They didn’t even have chicken.
