Nothing's special about food and very expensive. The music is too loud. We couldn't even hear each other to have a pleasant conversation at the outdoor restaurant at 6pm. This establishment was grandfathered in as a hotel because it was a spa with zen atmosphere which was compatible with the residential neighborhood. Now a hedge fund bought them out and the new business model is ibiza nightclub music, swanky Paramus mall. I will not be returning.

Without a doubt The Lido Bayside Grille delivers on their fabulous view and chill vibe. However, service has never been a strong virtue and today it was never more apparent. We arrived on time for our 1:30 reservation & were seated immediately at our perfectly positioned table. And then for 2 hours we sat (11 of us plus a dog and baby) patiently waiting for our food. Not a word from the server. No updates, apology...free bread...nada!! Good thing we had lots to talk about & lost track of time. At 3:25 we were all getting quite hangry so I decided to get up & went to find the manager. After making lots of excuses she finally said what can I do...you want the food comped, drinks, what? I wasn't going to be that greedy so I said drinks would be great! 20 minutes later our food finally arrived. Most of it cold. Burgers dry - looked way better than they tasted. Famished, we ate it anyway. We also were celebrating my son's birthday & wanted to order dessert w/candle. The server never came over to ask if we needed anything or if we wanted more drinks, or perhaps coffee or dessert. Once again I had to get up and track her down. When I requested dessert she said that it wasn't possible as kitchen was off limits & there was no dessert to be had?! What? No dessert? Not even for a birthday?! After speaking to 4 different people a server who overheard asked how he could help. When I explained situation, he said he would get me something - guava keylime pie - he says was the only thing he could get. I agreed & went marching back to table. As I sat back down we noticed 2 other nearby tables were being served chocolate cheesecake. So much for no dessert. We asked the server when she brought the bill why these other tables had the cake she shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know. All this on top of the $40 valet charge....unless it's for happy hour drinks and a sunset, sadly as much as we love the vibes & view we will not be going back there to eat anytime soon.

$35 charge to park your car just for dinner. We went to watch the sunset but couldn't see it anywhere from the dining room. The area where it could be seen was not for dining patrons. The food was very overpriced and mediocre!!

The only good thing about this place is a view that if you seat next to the water. The food is terrible, the drinks are lame, the noice is overwhelming, the amount of dogs is crazy as if we are at the doggy park. Perhaps this place is better of the seasons. But last night, it looked more like a night club, full of hookers and hooligans.

Nice place . Great ambiance and views . The only thing they are very complicate with table assignments . Even if place is empty and nice tables are available they won't sit you where you like . Food has gotten better over time . Best time to go is for happy hour !

The food continues to be uneven. Unlike past years, the fish sandwich was not available plain grilled (instead of blackened), leaving spice adverse diners with few choices. The lobster roll consisted of minced lobster combined with a melange of veggies. What lobster roll lovers want are big chunks of lobster and perhaps a little celery, bound together lightly with mayo. Period. At $42, that shouldn't be too much to ask. Coconut flan was delicious. Service was gracious and charming, as always. The setting for lunch on a beautiful day is unbeatable.

The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful and the best thing about this restaurant. However, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. Service was polite but slow, and the price was really higher than expected. 2 out of our party of 4 had steak dinners (one was hangar steak, the other was the special of the day filet mignon). Both steaks had a decidedly "fishy" taste to them, presumably because they were cooked on the same grill as the seafood. A $600 tab for a party of 4 seems excessive, even for a high class restaurant in a vacation area. We will probably not be back.

Hostes was super great when we arrived . The place has such an incredible view that you forget that you came to eat. The lido platter $110 delicious and fresh even thought it took a while to get. Wine is wine but our Gavi came out cold the way it should, so we ordered two bottles. It's really a great place to spend a Sunday!

A mixed bag. Always a lovely setting, the food is solid but nothing exceptional. The service was not what it should be. Very nice server, but he vanished for long periods of time. The prices are silly - $18 for a non-alcoholic drink, for example. This place has been around forever and always great to come back to, but wish we'd had better service to justify the pricey bill.

One of my fav places in Miami, have been coming here since 2019 and it has always been a great experience. Food, service, & ambiance is always top notch and the chill vibes create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Ordered passion fruit ceviche , burrata salad, and scallops which were all fantastic, drinks were delicious and our waiter Chad was awesome. As always, the standard leaves me satisfied and happy that I bring my out of town guests each time. Can't wait to come back!

Great space and atmosphere. Food was slightly above average, though the paella was very disappointing, for the price I expected decent sized seafood portion. In addition they still appear to allow smoking I the dinning area which ruined our meal.

Enjoyed a beautiful Al fresco lunch on the terrace. Not very busy mid afternoon .... Food Quality and presentation was very good. The setting and atmosphere is lovely and very relaxing. However, we did not appreciate the fact that 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. What is the incentive for a server? If they know they're already going to get 20%. Our server rarely checked on us and it should've been up to us to determine what type of tip was suitable for the service we received.

I am shocked by some of these reviews. I’ve come here 5x a day for over it a year. The food and coffee is wonderful, the service is amazing, the ladies take such good care of everyone in there. Highly recommend the breakfast bowl and the iced perky coffee!

Great cafe to work from or just grab a coffee if you're on the island. Reason for 5 stars: - the baristas and workers were incredible. So hospitable and just overall nice people!! Seemed happy to be working there. - there is free fast internet - probably 15 tables and there were plenty of other people working from there (note downside is outlets, mine was broken so I had to move!) - also people were taking zoom calls which was great to see. - the açaí bowl was delicious!!! (A little pricey but worth it) - I also got an oat milk latte -great people watching. Overall, I'd go back here in a heart beat to work, or if I'm close by, just grab a coffee or snack. Enjoy eaters!!

We had an exceptional dining experience at Lido, largely thanks to Catalina our server. Her bubbly personality and professionalism added a delightful touch to our meal. She engaged with us, delivering a high-level of service that was both friendly and personable. Our overall enjoyment was elevated by her outstanding service.
