My husband and I like to consider us ‘foodies’ (and ‘tiramisu connoisseurs’); we came here for the spice menu and everything was absolutely incredible. Tranquil atmosphere with genuinely friendly and attentive staff and GREAT food, wine, dessert (literally the best tiramisu we’ve had in the USA), and homemade limoncello. NICK, our server, was THE BEST. He has perfect level of attentiveness, timing, made us feel very comfortable (not rushed, etc). I honestly can’t believe it has taken us this long to try this place out — we will be back! And if it’s spice month, go for dinner TONIGHT because it’s quite the steal.

This Italian spot near my house has quickly become a favorite. Their fiocchi is hands down the best I’ve ever had, perfectly made and packed with flavor. Honestly, all of their pastas are excellent, but the fiocchi really sets them apart. It’s rare to find a place where everything on the menu is consistently good, but this one delivers every time.

As a long term customer that loves Prima Pasta and has referred endless people there it hurts to write this. Why offer Miami Spice if your going to serve your popular dishes but not as they usually come. I will say the service was very good but….
I went to prima pasta last night which I absolutely love and on their spice menu they had all my favorites but the pear truffle fiocci was day and night with the regular one. Horrible! The pasta was chewy and overcooked. The prosciutto non existent. The pear tasteless and the truffle… you can usually smell the truffle when the plate comes. This time zero truffle taste or smell.
The chicken parm looked like a blanket of mozzarella. Horrible! The chicken was paper thin and dry, as for the penne pasta it was also not edible as it was also hard and chewy. I ordered a side of vegetables which the waiter said was a medley of delicious fresh vegetables. It looked like it was out of a can. It was mushy, overcooked, and drenched in oil or butter. It was gross! The tiramisu was not their regular portion. It was a 3 bite size.

To date the best Italian restaurant I have had in the USA. I dream about their pear truffle pasta.
Food aside though, I used to come here when business would take me to Miami for years and the staff were always very kind when I would go in there alone.

Our group of nine people went last night to this restaurant for a dear friend's birthday celebration. Service and ambience were impeccable, but for two of the people in our group who ordered Chicken Parmigiana, the chicken's crust appeared dark, instead of the usual golden brown, and BOTH persons got today a tremendous indigestion and nausea. We suspect that the Chicken Parmigiana was cooked with very old, very used oil, thus the dark color of the crust and our indigestion. This is unacceptable in such a supposedly high-quality, well-known restaurant such as Prima Pasta.

WOW! Café Prima Pasta is one of those places that NEVER disappoints. The quality of the food is outstanding and every plate is exquisite Italian cuisine at its best! The service is always superb and they welcome you with fresh bread that is absolutely to die for, so yummy. The dessert was so good that we were fighting for the last bite. I cannot wait to come back again. This restaurant is truly a gem in Miami and definitely recommended for anyone who loves authentic Italian food. It’s A MUST!

My family and I have been dining at Prima Pasta for over 20 years. Fabio and his team set the standard for customer service, consistently going above and beyond. They always make us feel truly special! The food is consistently excellent, and the staff’s cheerful, welcoming attitude is a rarity in Miami. A big thank you to Fabio, Pedro, and the entire Prima Pasta team for making every visit memorable.

Amazing!!! Everything was amazing, food, the service, the portion of the food was big. Definitely worth it. Prices are reasonable especially that you are in the beach area.

My favorite restaurant in the entire universe. And not just cuz my photo is on the wall. 😜 The way Gerry, Fabio, Geraldine, Henry and the rest of the Prima family treat every patron with the same VIP treatment is amazing. This is another home for my family. Oh and the food is spectacular too. 😜 brb eating my leftovers cuz the portions are Midwest sized!
Penne. Never misses.
Fiocchi. Must try.
