DBPR seriously needs to pay this place a visit. The food handling here is borderline disgusting—a straight D- would be generous. Nothing looks fresh, clean, or properly handled, and eating here honestly feels like a gamble.

The service makes it even worse. Staff is rude, dismissive, and acts like customers are a problem instead of the reason they’re open.

I get fresher, safer food from a food truck or even a 7-Eleven, and that says everything. This place is overpriced, poorly run, and not worth risking your health.

Hard pass. Never again!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 2 years, and unfortunately it’s been one bad experience after another.

The first time I noticed serious hygiene issues: a cook had no hair net, and I watched them grab fries with bare hands right after handling money at the register. That alone should have been enough for me to stop coming.

This most recent visit was the final straw. I placed my order and waited… and waited. After a long time I walked toward the kitchen area and saw the cook staring at her phone for at least 2–3 minutes while I was literally standing there looking at her. She didn’t move until the cashier noticed what was happening and told her to start my order. Even then, she continued looking at her phone before finally preparing the food — again, without a hair net.

On top of that, the croissant was clearly old. It seemed like they heat it up just to soften the dough, but you can still tell it’s not fresh. The ham looked like it had been sitting there for days.

It really sucks to keep trying to support a business and keep getting the same low standards and careless service. Very disappointing. I hope I don’t have to come here ever again.

The lady was in a really bad mood… I didn’t like their coffee, low quality, and their cakes as well. The Opera cake was so bad… lol This is the kind of place you’d go with a girlfriend to but break up 🤣 I’ll never go back again.

I love this place. I use it all the time for breakfast and lunch. Kenia, the cook, is amazing. She makes the best palomilla steak. Her cooking is super.

The quality and taste of food is a bargain, as the prices are reasonable. The open kitchen is clean as is the seating area. The design is quite nice with outdoor seating if desired. The staff is friendly and hard working. No frills excellence. Five stars.

I used to come here all the time with my oldest daughter, she adored the swing they had outside. It was a good vibe and different. We decided to come again today and was disappointed. The food we ordered from the window display was old. Hard and cold. Coffee was decent. There are plenty of tables to sit indoors and outdoors. No toilet paper in the restroom although the place was empty. Service was decent but not very friendly.

Ended up here with a friend cause we were in a hurry. We got empanadas, croquetas and tequeños. They all tasted like cold petrified wood.
We also ordered two iced coffees and we got two hot coffees with three melting pieces of ice on top and they both tasted like ash tray.
Now the service, that was the only good thing, the ladies were super nice and attentive.
Stay the hell away from this place.

CAO Bakery in South Beach has really become my favorite spot for Cuban pastries and coffee. Their pastelitos stand out in a big way — they’re noticeably softer, never dried out or overcooked, and they pack in way more guava than the ones at Lucky Vicky Bakery. You can actually taste the difference with every bite. The cafecito is strong and smooth, the pastries always taste fresh, and the whole place has a relaxed Miami Beach vibe that makes it an easy stop whether you’re grabbing breakfast or a midday treat. Consistent quality, great flavors, and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Dry pastries, average cheesecake, stale bread, nothing special. Looks nice, taste…meh. I wouldn’t go back if it was free.
