My colleague and I visited Carrot Express North Beach on December 2nd. We were having dinner covered by the company I work for, but we had to eat in the car because the staff told us we couldn’t dine in after 8 PM.
Later, while preparing my invoice for the company, I noticed that the cashier who served us added tips without my knowledge, even though I had specifically indicated no tips, as I planned to leave them separately on another check—which I did.
I left a comment on the company’s website but received no response. Today, I called the location, and the Assistant Manager hung up on me during the call. This is completely unacceptable!
I strongly do not recommend this location. I am extremely disappointed with the service.

When Carrot Express North Beach opened, it became my "go-to" for food that is fresh, healthy, and delicious. Whenever Angie the manager is there, I feel welcomed, everything runs smoothly, meals are done well and quickly.
The only 2 things I'd say are not good are (1) when ordering delivery instead of takeout lately it's taken up to two hours to receive food (which is by then cold and/or melted) and (2) Carrot Express prices have become very high so I don't order as frequently as I used to. I didn't knock off any stars for these 2 things because I learned that a nearby Carrot Express location recently shut down and North Beach got slammed with new orders now coming to them (hopefully they sort this out with their delivery drivers soon so we can get delivery in a timely manner again!) and North Beach isn't the only location with high prices--it's across the board with Carrot Express.
Otherwise North Beach has been a nice experience, both with food quality and customer service.
