Food is ok. Drinks are pretty good. But the service is what is really great here. From servers to managers to rest of team, everyone tries to provide a great experience. Would return mainly due to this.There’s lots of restaurants in south beach with auto gratuity in the tab, so no one tries anymore. Guess there’s no need to. At Matilda’s this is very different. I feel great about spending money in a place like this. Would def recommend anyone to come here for a really good experience.

My fiancé and I had an amazing dining experience! We started with the Guacamole & Caviar and the Duck Carnitas (WHICH WERE INCREDIBLE) for drinks we had the Adult Carajillo and the chateau wine (both phenomenal). For the mains we had the filet and the crab enchiladas, the filet with chimichuri was beautiful and the enchiladas were IMPECCABLE! Be sure to end it all with the absolute BEST Tres Leches you will ever have! We can’t wait to come back!

I recently visited Casa Matilda, and I must say, the ambiance was absolutely beautiful. The food and cocktails were truly amazing, although the drinks were a tad pricey. I ordered the branzino, while my friend opted for the salmon, both of which were delicious. However, the lamb was slightly overcooked and lacked some flavor. Overall, the experience was enjoyable. Despite having a live DJ, we visited on a Friday night and found the restaurant to be quite empty. Nevertheless, Casa Matilda has immense potential. I encourage others to check it out and show their support. We had a fantastic time!”

Food was all incredible, especially the octopus set atop the mushroom. The chimichurri was so tasty even though the steak was perfect without it. Prices even by Miami standards are steep, but they must need to charge for that rent and the gorgeous decor!

The restaurant was pretty empty when we went. We were literally the only group there that Sunday, food took a minute to arrive despite of that. Overall it is a nice restaurant, over the decor, music level was normal, we were able to have a conversation on the table without yelling at each other. Most of the meal was exquisite, will go for the prawn always
We gave the rating we did because of the service we received from Natalie & the staff. Our drinks were excellent, our appetizers were phenomenal which left us wanting more and then came our dinner. Our main courses fell short which was disappointing. My husband ordered the filet mignon with the Mac n Cheese and I had the lamb chops with seasonal veggies. Seasoning on the meats were lackluster. Papi Steak or Giselle has way better flavor profile on their meats than Casa Matilda in our opinion. Ambiance is a 10/10, service 10/10, but main dish is 4/10.

We celebrated a birthday here and the atmosphere and ambiance were beautiful. The decor gave the best backdrop for photos. It is an elegant and elevated vibe!Our meals were delicious! We shared a watermelon salad, I had the filet mignon with lobster mac n cheese and she had the crab enchiladas. Everything was impeccably prepared and presented.Our server Matias was a charm! He took very good care of us. He was kind and attentive. *Highly recommend Casa Matilda*

The experience is exceptional, its definitely a must try experience, they catered to us and made us feel like we were there only guests in the restaurant... The food is very tasty and the drink that comes in the birdy glass is very refresshing and tasteful. I appreciate this restaurant for there welcoming effort to make us feel not like just another customer but as apart of there brand.

First off, this place is absolutely gorgeous! I was snapping pictures as inspiration. We got the octopus, piña colada salmon, chipotle mash, watermelon salad and wagyu sliders…. Everything was delicious ?. One of my friend didn’t typically like watermelon salad but he really enjoyed this. For dessert we had the banana pudding and the tres leches and both were amazing. I will say I loved the bread pudding a lot. The service was really great, our server Natalie really helped us pick out our cocktails and plates and we are so glad we went with a lot of her suggestions. There weren’t a lot of people when we went so we loved it!

We had our first dinner here last night. We ordered a heirloom tomato salad, duck tacos, lamb chops and asparagus. Everything was delicious! The chimichurri was very good with the perfectly cooked chops. Diana, our waitress was excellent, she was engaging and helpful. The restaurant is great looking!
