Congress Hotel South Beach

The host of the condo did not submit my reservation to the receptionist. Also the condo smelled like mold.

Nobody tells you there’s a bar right underneath the hotel that’s blast music 24/7

We booked this thinking it would be a nice family place close to the beach.When trying to book another night we were warned by the manager not staying 7 nights here with family.Reading the reviews here, we understand why.It’s a party hotel, with crazy loud music all night, and pool parties every day.Safety: Not safe for kids

Hôtel avec un très bon rapport qualité prix pour Miami Beach. La situation géographique parfaite.Literie excellente et personnels très serviable.Piscine en rooftop très agréable mais la musique est un peu trop forte.En revanche situé près d’un bar le plus bruyant de Miami Beach même si après 00h il n’y plus de bruit.L’état général de la chambre est correcte mais nécessiterait un peu plus d’entretien et de rafraîchissement.Rooms: Chambre spacieuse et cuisine fonctionnelle. Très bonne literie en revanche pas de stores occultant la lumière. Balcon spacieux pour deux mais bruyant d’une part par le bar et de l’autre la proximité des climatiseurs.État général de la chambre plutôt vieillissant.Walkability: Manque d’informations sur l’emplacement exacte de l’hôtel car l’entrée se trouve dans un renfoncement peu visible depuis la rue.

it’s honestly not that bad, great location and decent price for a stay in miami. really friendly locals (our roaches named reggie and roachly) that have been festering in our stuff.

I have been trying to call about my reservation for a week now and can never get ahold of anyone in guest services. This is ridiculous.

This place has an elevator that breaks down often & when it works it runs very slowly! In addition, it’s very noisy with the Palace night club next door and loud cars revving up the engines all hours of the night!

Where do I start…1. Advertised rooftop pool and bar. Both were closed due to pool repairs.2. Elevator was out of order.3. Toilet did not flush properly. Had to remove lid to manually flush.4. Shower curtain was not wide enough to enclose water spraying out.5. Cracked/broken plastic floor tiles in kitchen area.6. Floors were FILTHY… obviously had not been mopped for some time.7. Beautiful view of the parking lot, alley, and adjoining building.8. Garbage pickup in alley daily starting at 7am and continued until 11am…extremely loud!!!9. Palace had drag shows consistently day and night. Extremely crowded with music and screaming till way past midnight.On a positive note… in walking distance to many restaurants and beach was right across the street.

Pros : You really cannot beat this location ! It was right next to the “palace”& the sugar factory along with plenty of great restaurants and cars along ocean drive !I really enjoyed the roof top here it was drop dead gorgeous !The pool was HEATED I loved that even on a windy day .I loved housekeeping they did a great job on my room the only thing is the left me a dirty sponge when I checked in and replaced it with a new dirty sponge when they serviced the room (it would be nice to always replace with a clean sponge ) other than that I could not believe the time I’m sure my housekeeper spent making the room look greatCons : small things such as the bathroom only having one light the others need to be replaced so it’s very dim .The air conditioning from the celling was leaking but nothing a small towel couldn’t fix some of these things I can completely deal with .-the worst con for some people is the noise with the palace bar that is connected . BUT turn on a tv this is the number one complaint in all of the south beach Miami hotels it’s going to be noisy if you stay ANYWHERE on ocean drive . It wasn’t a deal breaker for me and we stayed with an infant , I would stay again .
