Okay so basically the food here tasted horrible, and we told the manager, but he kept on saying that we were wrong and wasn't open to feedback. there was an ant in my food. If you are planning on going here anytime soon, I highly suggest you don't come here.

I never really had any appeals from Indian food my entire life. Wow, let me tell you I had no idea how much I was missing out. Holly guacamole. Amazing flavors and filling, awesome desserts! Owners are great. Chef is a crotchety old drunk but my man can COOK! The food looks and taste amazing. The atmosphere is chill. Also good music.

The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! A great vegan option and gluten free friendly place. My favorites are the samosas, Channa masala and the dumplings :)

Such a beautiful and amazing experience. We had a great time and it was the perfect spot for my bestie’s birthday. A great food selection and overall just a kind staff! Will definitely be visiting again soon.

The food here was AMAZING. Everything I tried I wanted to keep ordering because it was so good. And the service was impeccable. Highly recommend going here !

One of the worst place in my entire life
1 we order butter naan in the naan there is no butter plus it was not actually naan they gave us pizza base .
2 . It is very expensive restaurants with spending all the money food is not that level
3. We order paneer butter masala it was 21 dollar but quantity is very less
4 very over prices with garbage food they just open ready to cook packet for subji
5 charged you extra 20% service fee and resort fee of 1.36
6 stay away from this restaurant all the reviews are fake and paid

Lots of fake reviews here. If you want to be hungry, and fed below average Indian food at a very high price this is the place for you. If you like seeing young people pretend that they’re cool eating bland vegan food taking pics of very small dishes, this is the place for you.

I’ve eaten the food from Diya and Chef Vidhya a few times and so I felt it needed to come back and write a review. Especially in light of the bad reviews given by other Indians. First, this is a vegan restaurant, not vegetarian. Don’t go here if you expect the same old curries that are made the same way at every Indian restaurant. Also, don’t expect it to taste like your mom/grandma’s cooking. The food is creative and inventive in the substitutions to make dishes vegan. It will taste different than the original sometimes, but that should be expected. Lastly, you are going to a beautiful restaurant in South Beach right off the water. It’s not “Baba’s Palace” with a $4.99 thali plate. It’s pricey but well in line with South Beach. Go to Diya for something new and different. Don’t goto to Diya if you want 2000 years of the same food.

Fantastic dining experience. Went with my girlfriend for a birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better time. The food was delicious and so rich in flavor. Service was also phenomenal, everyone on the staff was very kind and had a good sense of humor. Very diligent team, able to anticipate what we would need before we needed it. Would absolutely go again, soon.

So sad to say this place is bland and overpriced. I’m a big Indian food fan but this place was quite a disappointment. The only thing that was good was the Gobi but the butter planeer was not good at all! It was just a tomato sauce (not creamy, it didn’t even look like it had cashews) with 2 pieces of tofu and a few grilled veggies for 22$ and you had to order the rice and naan on the side… never seen an Indian restaurant doing this, very weird. Overall I was expecting more

We had an absolutely delicious meal! Johnny told us exactly what to order, and he was absolutely spot on! We had the lettuce wraps, gobi, garlic naan, butter paneer and dumplings - all were absolutely delicious. We are not vegan (far from it!) but that made no difference! We’ll be back for sure!

The food was surprisingly very good, especially the mango cheesecake. Our server did a great job recommending some amazing dishes!
