I never really had any appeals from Indian food my entire life. Wow, let me tell you I had no idea how much I was missing out. Holly guacamole. Amazing flavors and filling, awesome desserts! Owners are great. Chef is a crotchety old drunk but my man can COOK! The food looks and taste amazing. The atmosphere is chill. Also good music.

TLDR:Food is average and overpriced for what it is.It is now FULLY vegan so discount any reviews for the gulab jamun/ tres leche ras malai since they are no longer served.Unfortunately, the food is a bit hit and miss - crispy rice, pretty poor. Manchurian - delicious. Would I come here again? For the price, no.

Me and my family had wonderful time there. Everything was excellent from food to service. I highly recommend people to try little bit of everything there. It the best Indian tapas food I ever had in America.

Since my husband and I moved from Chicago to Miami in December 2019, we have been looking for good plant-based and vegan options. This is truly a gem of a restaurant in the tourist-heavy South Beach area. If you're looking for unique and flavorful Indian dishes with a vegan-twist, this is for you. I also stopped drinking alcohol earlier this year and so I've been exploring mocktails and spirit-free drinks when we go out to dinner. Despite our waiter discouraging me to have the masala lemonade, because some "Americans don't like it" I really enjoyed the unique flavor. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming and the ambiance is great with outdoor plants and a cushions. Recommend if you're looking for something plant-based in South Beach off the beaten path. The samosas are so-so but the mango saffron vegan cheescake is a must!

Johnny was the absolutely best and recommended the most delicious dumplings and in Indian food I’ve ever had. This has been the best vegan food (and food in general) that I’ve had in Miami! Check this place out - delicious food, chai tea, drinks and incredible service. I am so grateful I stumbled upon this place!! Thank you Johnny! Also this was my first dosa I have ever had - do yourself a favor and get one!!! Absolutely incredible!

From the entrance the greeting was on point!Food and service pure perfection. Johnny amazing ? will return. Wine is good too. The restaurant decor is really, really nice! the best part is that it’s vegan/vegetarian. I fully support restaurants like this. This makes my heart happy for a better world :)

Reviews are pretty representative actually....place is somewhat hit or miss. Johnny the server was very personable and attentive as was the hostess. Food was somewhat inconsistent to be honest. Started out with the Gobi Manchurian and the Dumplings, both were good (Gobi was actually fantastic!), but then both my wife and I were somewhat disappointed with entrees that both of us should have thoroughly enjoyed (me - eggplant barta/her - mushroom stuffed peppers) both were just too curry forward and the flavors of the underlying veggies were simply overpowered rather than enhanced by the spices. Our non-vegan 14-year-old boy ordered the cheeseburger dosas, and while he wasn't impressed....both my wife and I were, as we enjoyed that plate very much!

My husband and I was very disappointed after hearing such great reviews. We ordered the butter tofu paneer which was a tiny portion of just two pieces of tofu and the naan was also hard. When we told the waiters they were not understanding and rude. The food was not so tasty either. They are conning people with the portion sizes and not good value for money at all. We will definitely not be ever returning to eat here again.

I'm a meat eater but Diya made me a believer. If you took me here and did not tell me it's a vegan restaurant, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference because everything I tried was prepared very well.We started with Papadum, BBQ Burnt Ends Lettuce Wraps, and Dumplings made with soy carne. Everything was impressive. Just the presentation blew me away and everything tasted so good. We also had a couple of drinks called Kashmiri Nibu made with bourbon and Diya's Gin & Tonic. Wow. These were absolutely heavenly. Crafted with care. After the 1st course, we tried the Gobi Manchurian (crispy cauliflower), Eggplant Bharta, Palak Paneer, Garlic Naan, and Cheeseburger Dosa. Again, the presentation was stunning. Everything was made with love. The Dosa was definitely my favorite. I've never seen or tasted anything like it. As for the finale, we were enticed by 3 desserts. Tiramisu, Guava Cheesecake, and Mango Cheesecake. OMG. All 3 were to die for. I had to ask myself, are these really vegan? I wish veggies were prepared this way when I was growing up cause I would eat these vegan dishes every day.If you're looking for something beyond the typical Asian or steakhouse and not afraid to try something new, this place is a must. Gorgeous restaurant, high quality vegan cuisine and the service is outstanding.

PHENOMENAL. I chose to order a bunch of appetizers and dessert instead of getting an entree, and I was in heaven. Tried 6 dishes and everything was wonderful. Sweet, attentive staff, I'll absolutely be back
