The place is really beautiful. Unfortunately the food isn't that great. Just ok. The beef carpaccio w truffles was very bad, the artichokes were good. The octopus was ok. The branzino was good. The pasta was good. The salmon was ordered medium. It was very overcooked. My husband said, we are not going again. I agreed. How unfortunate.

Overall food was the best part. Drinks did not really have any alcohol content tasted like juice. Service was very bad. Waited so long to even order a drink the specials for the night got sold out before they even took our drink order. Over an hour and a half for appetizers and then over an hour to get the meals. Very hard to get a server to even pass by. I think they need better training as our server told us he was too overwhelmed and couldn't handle it. Place was not even full. Nice atmosphere but lacks customer service. Makes you want to walk out.

Absolutely delicious food preparation and presentation! Dined with a party of 9 and Mitchell took excellent care of us all night. We ate family style and shared the Pasta, Prawns, Salmon, Pork Chops and New York Strip! We also had sides of asparagus and roasted potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately after consuming all that food we did not have room for dessert. Maybe on the next visit:)

We went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner. Table of 10 including a child. In the middle of dinner, a man from the kitchen started banging on the door as if someone had purposely left him locked inside.After catching everyone's attention from how out of place and loud he was, he was let out and started screaming and asking everyone to get out of the restaurant. Everyone inside the restaurant looked at each other in disbelief of what was happening and at first we thought he was playing only to being kicked out a few seconds later by the police, who came in and arrested the man. It was a horrible experience, we did not feel safe at all. We weren't even able to finish our dinner. Do not recommend!

Came during Art Week and had an amazing experience. The food was outstanding and was true ITALIAN. The focaccia bread was exceptionally cooked with tomatoes inside. The donatella salad was light but so flavorful. And the Alfredo Limone was exactly what you would want it to be... pasta, Alfredo, lemony and somehow light. Will definitely be back!

Donatella is one of the most beautiful restaurants we have visited in Miami Beach. The ambiance and the delicious food makes you feel like sitting in a wonderful (quiet 🙏🏻) courtyard in Florence or Rome. The carpaccio and the truffle pasta were outstanding. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely come back by next occasion !

I rarely go out of my way to write a review, but this place is truly a hidden gem. Everything was excellent—the ambiance, the food, and the service. I would absolutely come back. The pistachio gelato and Branzino were incredible, and the focaccia bread was amazing. Special shoutout to Leonardo for providing outstanding service!
