The ambience and service was perfect. The soups, ceviche and Uni was amazing. But I've done a lot of Omakase and for the value we just didn't think all the other courses were all that great. All the Nigiri was a little bland and missing something.  I think for the money, some of the other Omakase in Miami are a little better for the value. Plus, the courses felt a little rushed. But the chef was great, and so was the hostess. Again, just felt like some of the courses could've been elevated just a little bit for the cost.
Best Omakase we have had in the US. Chef Erik brings new meaning to the experience — the creativity of his preparation and flavors he brings to every bite is like no other. I don't like Uni and i loved it here for the first time. Talented, great personality and made my husband's birthday really special. We will be back. This is by the way a soace that holds 6 seats and it was just the 2 of us that night. Sake selection is also impressive.

We've been to El Secreto 5x over a few years and each time it is simply spectacular in every way. Chef Eric and Chef Carlos are exceptional chef's and human beings. It's so fun to chat with them in such a personal/intimate setting while they prepare each dish and to hear them explain the details of each course. Simply spectacular - highly recommend and we cannot wait to be back again for another omakase.

We bought this place for my sisters bday dinner. Everyone had an amazing time. Definitely one of the best Omakase in Miami .. and def the most intimate as there are only six seats per seating. Highly recommend

I love coming here. Service and quality was exceptional. There's only 6 seats in a dim lit room which was Mr. Faena's personal bar. Their homemade pickled ginger is a highlight for me because it takes them a year to prepare. Every bite of fish has a unique flavor profile that they cultivate with different fruits, peppers and spices. It's a special experience overall. The only negative thing I would say is the choice of music they were playing that we couldn't change. I would've preferred something more upbeat. But I still give them 5 stars.

If you have not tried this Omakase you are missing out. The intimate setting, the service and last but not least the quality of the fish is just top notch. This was our third visit to El Secreto and each time they make it better. Can't wait to go back.

Outstanding omakase dinner. All of the courses were perfectly prepared and unique. The room where the dinner is served is very private and has amazing vibes. The chef's were incredibly skilled and explained everything about each course. I had a great time and I strongly recommend El Secreto Omakase for anyone in the Miami area looking for an unforgettable dinner experience!

The best sushi dinner experience I've ever had. Exclusive speak easy tucked away in a secret corridor of the hotel. We had the server, manager, sommelier, and 2 chefs all to ourselves for the service. We felt like royalty in our anniversary. All dishes are a work of art and taste like heaven. Highly recommend for a special dinner or date with a special someone.
