I've been there to eat at least 10 times. Its amazing every time. It's very rare that I get all 4 things of what I look from a burger spot. Amazing selection of juicy burgers, great ambiance, good sports on different screens and A+ service!! I can't say enough good things about El Desembargo!!!

“We called ahead as we wanted to make sure about parking and also we had a small dog. We received a very warm positive response. There was lots of parking and our dog could be easily accommodated We came for brunch and were greeted very warmly by Juan and staff. It’s just a very nice place, coming from downtown Miami. It is still in the artsy district with lots of activity, but not right in the chaotic part of downtown Miami. We were greeted upon arrival. Juan made sure we were comfortable and took drink orders. Then the food. ( our dog was royally taken care of). We found the empanada to be excellent, the breakfast sandwiches delicious from bread to cheese, eggs and meat. Very fresh!! Our party had wonderful juice combinations and we had an expresso- all were excellent. It was a wonderful experience and we’d come back in a minute. Thankyou Juan!! PS the bathrooms were absolutely wonderful and clean too!!❤️❤️“

“Such a beautiful place. The owner really built the most beautiful bakery and cafe that I have ever been to. The air is refreshing, the food is fresh, the floors are spotless, the smell is to die for. I will be coming here as often as I can afford! Such an amazing owner, she made me feel cherished for being in her business and I can tell the food was made with love!!! Anyone who is in the area MUST come here to eat, have coffee, read, take meetings and find clarity in their life with this environment!“

“They not only look amazing but they also taste delicious!!! it's hard to pick a flavor because all of them taste great so I bought a variety of them 😜. Marcelo and Alejandra were very welcoming and provided great service to me. It's easy to find the location and parking is accessible, basically right there next to food truck. I'm excited to try more dishes from the menu. awesome job guys 🎉“

“Came across this place when our original plans fell through. Cute little place with chill vibes. The guava / coconut pound cake was so yummy! Also got the bacon, egg and cheese croissant which was perfect! Loved that they use bacon crumbles in the eggs! So crispy and delicious! The beef empanadas were really good too! Definitely planning on going back to try out their lunch items.“

“JuanCafe is a hidden gem with truly authentic Colombian food. The flavors are delicious and immediately transport you to Colombia, especially when you go for lunch and order a corrientazo, just like it is called in Colombia. It feels like sitting down for a real Colombian midday meal.
The bakery is excellent. The empanadas, buñuelos, and papa rellena are unique, fresh, and full of traditional flavor. Everything tastes homemade and prepared with care.
My favorite dish is the mondongo soup. It is rich, comforting, and exactly how it should be. If you are craving real Colombian food, this place delivers authenticity, quality, and the true taste of Colombia.“

“This place has been open since the 1970, and I used to come to the original location with my parents all the time. When that original spot closed and yesterday we saw this location, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical. But wow it completely surprised me in the best way.
The food tasted exactly like my childhood memories. The same flavors, the same quality, and that comforting, authentic Cuban taste I remember so well. The crema de queso were flavorful and creamy, the Cuban sandwich was amazing, and the Cuban pizza was just as delicious as I remembered.
It’s not easy to recreate that kind of nostalgia, but they truly did. So grateful this place is still keeping those flavors alive. Highly recommend!“

“Amazing experience with Gaston. My wife and I loved the live music that drew us to dine in. Gaston was so friendly and recommended the beef empanadas and ropa vieja, which were delicious. The restaurant is cute and not too loud compared to others nearby with a party vibe. La Canita is the perfect spot for a romantic night out and the hostesses are not pushy like others down Ocean Bld. Highly recommend!!“
