Fat Tuesday South Beach

We usually love Fat Tuesday and were very excited to visit on our trip to Miami… very disappointing. We visited on December 14th between 2 and 3pm. The lady at the counter was very rude. There was only 2 other customer seated and us who ordered at the counter so she wasn’t very busy. She seemed very unpleased to be there and the way she was responding to us indicated that. I ordered a pineapple/amaretto in a refillable cup and she asked me what kind of alcohol I wanted in it, I was a little confused because I had never been asked this question before, she made it seem like it was included and normal step when ordering… so I asked if it was included and she said no so I declined to have any extra added. I had no issues with extras but it should be mentioned differently… I’m sure they get a lot of extra money but tricking customers like that. Then she poured my drink in the cup and rang in on the cash register, I saw the price of my drink plus a gratuity of 18% ($4,38) but I never had a choice to change it or remove it. I wish she hadn’t poured my drink because I would’ve just left empty handed. The worst is when I paid I was prompted to add even more gratuity. Ridiculous. It’s up to the customer to choose the amount of gratuity they want to give, she’s paid to pour the drink that’s all she did. Gratuity usually is for being pleasant and helpful and she was none of that. I was tired and didn’t want to argue so I just paid and left. She didn’t deserve any gratuity for doing her plain basic and simple job which she was hired to do…. She should not be working in customer service. I always tip when I have good service but this lady is one of the rudest people I’ve encountered in a while. MAJOR TOURIST TRAP !!! I would avoid at all cost and just wait until you’re in Vegas to go as their employees seem genuinely happy to be there and to interact with their customers.

Drinks are always on point… can’t ever take that away from them. But I went at 12pm today, (don’t judge me) and had to pee, the bathroom was gross!! Came back tonight around 10:00 (don’t just me, I love these drinks!!), bathroom was STILL NASTY!!! Nobody cleaned them all day??? Please guys!! Come on! You are in South Beach Miami!! Take some pride in your establishment!!! At my place, I have someone check the restrooms every 30 minutes… I will always come for the drinks, but I ain’t never chilling no where I can’t comfortably pee at. Tighten up, please.

Drinks, food, music, entertainment on point! We went on a slow Wednesday and had so much fun! The employees are top notch ! Thank you lauren & issac for all your advice on area and for being the best bartenders! Y’all rock !

Upon arrival at the start of my vacation, I was greeted at the door by Jordan. He was a gray security guard checked my ID. Everything seem valid legit and very safe and then I proceeded to the bar where after my first drink on the second one he was also an amazing bartender and then I was also hungry and he was my cook too. I couldn’t ask for better service and I recommend fat Tuesdays for anybody traveling to the Miami area. Definitely safe very upscale nice garden area for seating Billards games and so much more.

Ordered 2 small drinks (15$) and wings (12$) and total was 79$…. when asked what the extra 37$, she told me extra liquor/shot and I said I didnt ask for extra shots on either of my drinks and wanted a refund. she “said” okay done but…. 6 days later… no refund. 20% gratuity was clearly added also without warning.

5 sips of the drink gave my boyfriend and i identical stomach aches, first time we came we were told the flame icons indicate vodka and the rest have rum, second visit when we wanted a drink we were told the flame means just more rum, we asked if they do samples and was told no and now reading reviews they do samples , ridiculously overpriced.20$ for one regular drink after tax and service charge.

Popped in after day at beach ⛱️ and we had a selection of drinks and eats. Our server was a gem, on point and friendly. The atmosphere is the same as back in the day, give it a try.
