Frederico and his service team were excellent and the food was memorably special. Preparation and presentation were impeccable. Save room for desert and ask for the white chocolate gelato martini to pair with it. Paige makes the finest cocktails in South Point. You can't miss at Forte dei Marmi.
Food was decent but somewhat overpriced for what you are getting, especially when you consider some of the other restaurants in the area at similar price points with better quality food.
The food was incredible and service was worth it. The only feedback I have is that they add an automatic service charge but also ask for a tip which could create confusion.

First we tried to call the restaurant directly & also use the open table app to change our reservation time from 5:30 to 6:30 on the app, it said no reservations available as if the whole restaurant was sold out and the restaurant never picked up their phone. We got there at 5;30 p.m. (our reservation time) and we were the only table there for 90 minutes so obviously they were not booked up like they showed on the open table app. The main issue I have with the restaurant and why I'm taking up my valuable time to write this review is because THE ONLY REASON I picked this restaurant to eat at is because a very famous celebrity & close friend of mine did a party there a few years ago and he told me next time I'm in Miami I should eat here and check the place out, so I promised him I would. When we sat down I informed the waiter I would like to take a look at the upstairs portion of the restaurant after my dinner where my friend hosted his party to just take a quick peek and catch a vibe. The waiter came back mid dinner and told me he spoke with the owner of the restaurant via phone and would not allow me to take a quick peek upstairs, that really insistently killed the dinner and experience for me and my guests. I would not go back to this restaurant for a lack of customer service skills. The food was bland & not much flavor and overall not all that good either. We had dinner at the Versace mansion the night before this and had a wonderful time, the food was delicious and most importantly their staff at the Versace mansion knows how to treat their customers while Forte del Marni clearly DOES NOT.
Best Italian in Miami by far! The food is always amazing. Service can be a bit slow, but you never leave regretting your visit.
Our favorite restaurant, of all! We live outside of Chicago, we come in 2 times a year, everytime, delicious spectacular everyone especially Max and Grace are so attentive and so sweet. Everything I ever have is outstanding and tried almost all the dishes. Thank you. We will share this over.
Wow! One of the better Italians in Miami! Everything was on point and our server Drago was the best!! Definitely recommend 10/10
I am writing to share my deep disappointment regarding the experience I had at your Forte Dei Marmi restaurant in South Beach on August 16th. I was very excited to visit, as I previously lived in Italy and am passionate about Italian cuisine. For this reason, I made sure to book well in advance for two people at 10:30 PM, to celebrate my friend's birthday. Upon arrival, two hostesses informed us that we would need to wait despite having a reservation and suggested we wait at the bar. We agreed, but ended up standing there for one full hour. During that time, I noticed several empty tables and went to ask a hostess why we could not be seated. Unfortunately, she was unable to provide any explanation. To make matters worse, I observed other groups arriving after us, some larger than ours, who were seated before us, while we continued waiting. This inconsistency was both frustrating and discouraging, as it gave the impression that reservations and fairness in seating were not being respected. This incident not only ruined what should have been a joyful birthday celebration but also left us with a very negative impression of your establishment. I strongly believe that all guests should be treated with the same consideration and respect, especially when they have made a reservation in advance. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues so that no other guests have to go through such a disappointing experience in the future.
Amazing food, service was incredible. Marko is a true professional. The only issue was the bread. Didn't come out fresh. But everything else? My god. Pasta was to die for and I love that they serve bresaola with the burrata. Everything is expensive but for the location, service, food quality, etc.... it's worth it every now & then. Would 100% come back.

It was an extremely unforgettable experience due to the excellent service from the girls who welcomed us, the people at the bar, all the very attentive staff when they assigned us our table, which by the way was the best location for us, to our waiter Srdan M. (I didn't ask his name, I saw it on the ticket when we paid) but our waiter was the best, he even sang birthday songs for me and I haven't even mentioned the exquisite food, the Pescatora Risotto and the unforgettable tiramisu.😍
The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the pasta they prepare inside the cheese wheel – it's a must-try. The only downside was that it was really hot inside and the AC didn't seem to be working properly.
The place is beautiful, no doubt. But when it comes to service, it really missed the mark. There was no actual server checking on us — only runners. At one point, they cleared a full cocktail from our table without asking a single question. No “How was it?” No “Did you not like it?” That’s basic hospitality. If you want guests to feel taken care of — especially after dropping nearly $400 — you need to care about the details. Otherwise, there’s no reason to come back.

Group date night and Alex handled it like a champ. We started with Burrata and Branzino Tartare, then moved to Beef Tenderloin and Lamb Scottadito. Sides of Truffle Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli rounded it out. Alex kept the conversation flowing, the plates moving, and everyone smiling. Great spot for any occasion
