I was in Miami traveling from Texas for business and decided to try George’s Restaurant and Lounge—and wow, I am so glad I did. This was hands down some of the most amazing Italian food I have ever had. Truly next-level.

I didn’t have a reservation, so I was given the option to sit at the bar or on the patio. I chose the outdoor patio, and even though it was a very windy day, it did not affect my experience at all. The atmosphere was fantastic—relaxed, vibrant, and welcoming.

My server was absolutely amazing, and the entire staff was incredibly attentive. I always ask servers for their best recommendations because I love trying new things, and the suggestions I received were things I had never tried before. Every single bite blew me away. The flavors, the quality, the presentation—everything was exceptional.

I don’t drink alcohol, but I couldn’t help but notice their impressive cocktail and wine selection, which looked fantastic for those who do. I ended up splurging and trying several items, so my meal was around $70, and it was worth every single penny without question.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place—from the food to the service to the ambiance. As an added bonus, it’s located right across from public parking, making it super easy to access.

If you’re in Miami, George’s is an absolute must. I will 100% be back.

It reminded me of restaurantes of The past beautiful boths and white table cloth no disco music , and you can hold a conversation without screeming. Had a very nice tasty chicken milanese with a side of penne with Oil /Garlic perfectly cooked and of course a nice bottle of Riserva Ducale Try the place , you will go back many times. Great service was appreciated.

Favorite Italian restaurant in North Beach. Lunch and dinner are great. The atmosphere is elegant but still has a neighborhood feel. Always great music but on the weekends they have a DJ. For lunch love the pizza Bianca. Can sit at the bar or in the very nice restaurant or even outside. Great wine and mixed drink choices. Not so many beer choices. The staff is friendly. Pasta dishes are all fantastic even the bread is good. Some pretty good vegetarian choices also. Day or night it is the way to do Italian in North Beach.

A Hidden Gem for True Italian Lovers

This Tuesday was a treat us we were on our first date for the month.
At our neighborhood Italian spot, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—perfect for a relaxed evening with good food and wine. Luigi our server started us off with the sweetbread piccata, which was absolutely outstanding—tender, delicate, and perfectly balanced with that bright lemon-caper sauce. For my main course, I went with the veal chop, cooked flawlessly: juicy inside with a beautiful sear on the outside, full of rich flavor. I also tried the ravioli, which tasted like it came straight from a nonna’s kitchen—fresh pasta with a filling that was both light and satisfying.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the wine recommendations paired perfectly with the meal. It’s clear the chef here truly cares about quality and authenticity.
This place is a real neighborhood treasure—elegant food without any pretension. I’ll definitely be coming back soon

We went there with our 7mo around 6:30pm on a Monday and we were able to get a table outdoor without wait. Inside seems a bit more upscale than outside but both offer comfort and are very nice areas. We were offered a high chair and our waiter was quick to bring water and bread.
Due to some dietary restrictions, to serve us can be a bit annoying. Server tried to help, but didn’t make me feel confident with his answers, it felt more like a guess than a true ingredient research and care. But it was overall ok.

We ended up taking to go since our baby started to act up.
They packed the food in a nice reusable insulated bag and when we got home all the food were fresh, hot and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with the food quality and flavor.

Husband got the fettuccine Alfredo and I got the veal piccata with veggies.

It was a bit pricey but it’s Miami 😅
