I recently had an interview scheduled with AC Hotel Miami Beach for a front desk position, and I must say, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. After passing the preliminary written test, I was eager to move forward in the process. However, the communication from the hotel was completely unprofessional.
Despite being out of town when I was initially contacted, I promptly informed them of my availability for Thursday, Friday, or any day after, and even mentioned I was open to an immediate phone or Zoom interview. But when I arrived at the hotel for the scheduled in-person interview, the general manager, Emmer Beata, did not even take the time to speak with me. I’m not sure if the front desk failed to inform her of my arrival or if she simply chose not to meet me, but either way, it was clear that my time was not respected.
To make matters worse, after I reached out to speak with Emmer Beata directly, I never received a callback. This left me feeling that the hotel doesn’t value potential employees. If this is how they treat people during the hiring process, I don't even want a job there, and I certainly won’t be staying there in the future.
I understand that businesses are busy, but basic professionalism and respect for people’s time should always be a priority. Unfortunately, AC Hotel Miami Beach fell far short of those expectations. If you're considering applying here or staying here, be prepared for a lack of communication and a possible waste of your time. The General Manager Emmer Beata will never answer the phone call you back or answer a message or email totally unprofessional and no respect for other people time !

Gin + Collins is a great place to lounge and grab a bite or a drink. Especially if you’re staying at the hotel. Food menu has a nice selection and there’s an extensive drink menu. More of a lounge and bar than a sit down restaurant. There’s even a pool table.

Nice little place within the hotel. Had a selection of their small dishes after a long day when we did not feel like getting the car and leaving the hotel again. Service was great and the dishes were very good. Had a cuban sandwich, some wings, a salad and my first taste of Mountain Dew!
