I arrived at 11.40pm and the employee immediately told me they were closing. I asked for a banana split and she said no. they were already cleaning and didn't want to make a mess and she said they didn't have vanilla. an ice cream shop without vanilla???? terrible service. the employees wanted to hurry up and close. absurd in the most famous street of Miami beach.

Terrible experience at Häagen-Dazs! The server, with blue hair and a cap, was incredibly rude. She served me with a cold attitude and, to make matters worse, she took away some of my ice cream because there was ‘too much’! I’ve never seen anything like this before. When you pay $8.45 for ice cream, you expect a decent portion, especially from a brand like this. I usually go to the Brickell location, and the service there is much better. Honestly, this was shameful and unacceptable!

I wish I had read some reviews before stepping in. Tourist trap with misleading prices. The menu shows 3 prices: small, medium, large. You order small, she rings as medium price. When I confront her, she pretends to speak bad English and claims that Small is called Mini, but Medium is called Small. Basically, had to pay $10 for a small cup, that in other places usually costs $6 max. Then she turns dusplay out to me with a bunch of tip options on top of their rip-off price. Do yourself a favor and avoid this tourist trap.

Update: 7-8-24 Location shows no sign of improvement. Two young ladies working with very long nails and no gloves...very unsanitary when scoping ice cream and no signs of washing their hands or under their nails after touching the floor, dirty water and etc.
Eeek....young kid working there broke every sanitary rule on 6-14-23. He was clearly overwhelmed with customers with no help, flies and nats all over the sweet waffle cones with chocolate.... left on the counter, he had a nose filled with boogers that he kept wiping with his hands....and not washing his hands...it was a mess but don't blame the kid...blame the manager. We walked down to the other store further down the mall towards Meridian, and it was perfect and running smoothly.

If you are walking on hot day and like to enjoy some ice cream - you expect German quality. Instead you get 30 minutes wait because is one person working only . Ice cream was ok but not meet the expectations for 10 dollars a person . Also the person does not speak English so we can’t make any kind of communication… pretty disappointing overall for the amount of money we spend …
