We had breakfast and dinner at the habitat for 2 days in a row this time around — and have been dining at the habitat every time we are in Miami for 3 years now.Breakfast buffet is very good though somewhat limited. Pastries could be fresher, omelettes are good and generously sized. Fruit selection limited but decent. A la carte options better. We love the dinner menu. The guacamole and chatted octopus appetizers were both great, they have several Mexican dishes that taste both authentic and creative (eg lamb enchiladas, Florida grouper cooked Yucatán style). Their kids quesadillas are fantastic. Also their stuffed churro dessert is absolutely phenomenal.Service has always been great, attentive and friendly.

Atmosphere is beautiful, however our server was not very knowledgeable of the menu or portions so once our dishes arrived, we were very disappointed. The chicken was undercooked & fatty, grouper tacos were incredibly small and soggy for the price. We paid $185 only to go to another restaurant to finish dinner.

I had a late night snack here, ordered a quac & chips, the potion for quac was tiny, and the chips were extremely salty. Ordered a btl water, the bill came to almost $50! It’s ridiculous how they are adding an “admin fee” on top of the mandatory 20%service charge which the service was not even good! There are many great Mexican restaurants in Miami, but this is definitely not one of them. Don’t recommend.

As always, brunch was wonderful (and reasonably priced at $42 for the buffet)...great selection, presentation and quality of food using very fresh ingredients and excellent, attentive, friendly service from Mireya. Rosangela wasn't my server this time, but she is always friendly and helpful and remembers me from year to year too. I enjoy catching up with both of these ladies, it's like family when I'm there. The relaxed, beautifully natural, high-end atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable and I never feel rushed; they encourage me to stay as long as I'd like and I do, and always leave feeling energized and joyful.I was pleased to meet Johanna, the general manager of Habitat, on this visit. She is a gem and it's obvious how much she cares about her guests' experience as well as her staffs' wellbeing too. This is one of the few restaurants that achieves the same consistently high level of food quality and service year after year and it's wonderful to be taken care of by the same servers, who always remember me. Staff retention and customer care like this are rare these days and it's inspiring to see happy staff who love their job and their customers. The cohesive vision of excellence from the top conveys in every aspect and it gets better every year, if that's possible, another rarity in post-Covid times. Habitat is my go-to hang-out (fabulous 1 Hotel lobby included) and I look forward to spending time there whenever I'm in Miami Beach.

Terrible! Never again luckily! Impossible food to eat, worst margarita of our life. Worst $200 spent here in Miami! I took a Yucatan dish and a Mexican dish. The rice tasted like dish soap. The burnt fish. The tacos stank. Terrible experience, to be forgotten! With all the clubs there are in Miami, what a bad luck to end up in this very place!

Food was generally good. Some elementsof kid-friendliness (high chairs, a few menu items, plastic cups.) Service was very poor: no one was at the desk when we arrived, and the place looked shut. The table was set for the wrong number and never really rectified. Two dishes came more than 30 minutes after the others (and an hour after ordering) due to a ‘kitchen error’, after we had enquired twice. We were not offered a discount or comped the dishes, which I would have expected at a minimum. I’m sure it’s great if you get capable service.

Nice restaurant with interesting interior, beautiful garden (unfortunatelly it was cold to sit outside). Rather small menu, I would like to had had more to chose from. Wine list could also be expanded a bit.

Nice atmosphere… but unfortunately it’s all good this place can offer you.Service was quite poor. Food looks and taste as you got it from the Subway.Quesadilla holds only name from that dish.Waiter bring us wine in a dirty glasses and didn’t even apologize for it.Also at the time they had situation with the fire alarm, no one come to us inform about it or bring their apologies, but instead they bring us a bill and asked pay it right away.I wouldn’t recommend that place at all.

Went here for dinner. Atmosphere is fantastic, our server was wonderful but I didn’t get his name (it was Sunday night on the 5th!) Food was actually incredible tasting, steak was perfectly cooked, best fish I’ve had in a while too. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Miami. Didn’t stay at the hotel so can’t comment on that, but the restaurant itself is worth going to.
