Jaya is a mixed bag. The food and service are excellent which was impressive given the size and chaos of the room. The check-in is a mess with up to 50-100 guests crammed into small lobby spaces while you wait to be seated (in our case 40 minutes after our reservation time). The chaos and wait time are indicative of an intentional policy to overbook the room. Finally, this should be considered an “immersive experience” because you will not be able to talk to your dinner companion(s)...
Amazing experience! The service was wonderful and the food and drinks were delicious. We got the Peking duck and the Thali - great portion sizes. Only disappointment was that we were not given a table until an hour after our reservation time.
We have made a reservation, but we still need to wait another fifteen minutes. I understand it's Saturday night, but it should be better managed. The service is excellent, and there is a good show during the dinner. The food is nothing special to remember.
