I was trying to celebrate a family birthday - wanted to do a special dessert - guess what the company cancelled their reservation - totally not cool. I would call that retaliation!

We had a reservation for this evening on OpenTable that we made over a month ago. THEY cancelled it. We were a party of 8! Do not book here if you are a large party.

A friend from work recommended Juvia to us. We had an early reservation on 4/21/23, and had the place to ourselves for a while. Can't beat the view! Cristian was our server, and he took good care of us. We started with Juvia Coladas and the tuna tartare. Both delicious! The place started to fill up. I had the pasta seafood and my husband had the sea bass. We couldn't take our eyes off the view throughout the meal! We were full, so for dessert we had Juvia shots. This was our most expensive meal of our vacation, but the food and view made it worth it!

Honestly, I'd probably never come here again. The service was terrible and the food was not worth the price. The only thing this place has going is the fact that it's a roof top. Our waitress was very rude and kept getting our order wrong. I ordered a Coca cola and it was super watered down and when I asked for a new one, the lady told me that there's no refills and this will be the last time. Even though I told her that it came watered down and I didn't even drink it! If someone asks for a new one and drinks even half of the cup then I'd understand but I only had one sip. Super rude. Then she brought us the wrong wine and had an attitude the whole time. The dessert was nothing that was described on the menu - didn't have any dulce de Leche ice cream - which im pretty sure she probably just brought us the wrong one. The prices are extremely high! A steak is $96! Never coming here again. The wagyu tartar just tasted like raw meat - you can't even taste all of the other ingredients that came with it. The octopus came with potatoes that didn't even have salt.

The food was ok, there's a dessert shot that was awesome but everything else was okay. The views are nice.

During our stay in South Beach, we had a family meal at Juvia. The service was amazing and the food did not disappoint at all! We arrived early enough for the Sunset Dinner menu and the value is exceptional. The views from the rooftop are amazing.

Here is a recent article I published on Juvia.

Great views of south beach, downtown Miami and the ocean. The food missed its target though; and the rsvp is a mess. Waited for a long time before being seated.

Amazing Upscale Rooftop Dining Experience! The views are spectacular, the food is incredible & the service is outstanding! Delicious drinks & desserts to choose from too! You can't go wrong with anything from the menu! Grilled Octopus, Tuna Tartare, SeaBass, etc all perfect! We had a chance to meet Jean-Marc, (the GM) personally. His passion and professionalism shines through! We will be back again very soon! Thanks again, we are customers for life!

Where do I start?! The restaurant is beautiful! The views are incredible and the food was delicious! We went for dinner on a Sunday the restaurant wasn't full and the service staff were on point! Fast, accurate service, and attentive staff. Now the down fall to this amazing restaurant was that we were not offered the special dinner menu that was available until we asked for it.. and when we asked for it the server said " oh why didn't you say something?" Well why wasn't it offered??? Other than this little mishap everything was great. If you haven't been here you definitely need to check it out.

Fine dining? NO. Good service? NO. Taste? I have to say, it was the worst experience. It really bothers me to say “Is the worst rooftop in Miami Beach, maybe in the entire South Florida. We spent over $388+ dollars. The food was really bad, under cook, instead of parsnip, they served raw potatoes. I told the waiter, sorry I don’t know her name, because she never gave us her name. She was told, it was parsnips because that’s what the dish said on the menu. I’ve been working in the industry over 15 years as Sous Chef and Chef Director. I have plenty experience to differentiate a raw potato and a parsnip. The Overall the experience was a 0 out of 10, food was really bad, service bad, I can keep going, but I’ll stop, Because it was my worst wasted $388 in just 35 minutes. The only thing I really liked was the Full Moon sign, because it was a full moon night. Please, do better… Juvia, the prices are too high and the expectations are way to high. But executions, service, quality, experience are extremely low. Details are the keys to success and this restaurant, is missing those details. Thank & hope this make a change.

The restaurant entrance itself is a little hidden. There's a "Juvia" sign near a door that leads to an elevator. The restaurant itself is on the 9th floor / rooftop. The view from the restaurant is nice but a little blocked by the unattractive fencing on the sideThe food was solid, interesting fusion of flavors For appetizers, we ordered the Wagyu gyoza (which had pretty much only Wagyu and little else inside, and were over a bed of mashed potatoes) and the spicy tuna crispy rice (a little plain tasting to be honest, needed either soy sauce or eel sauce or spicy mayo). For entrees, we ordered the seared tuna (pretty good but not very seared) and the Chilean seabass (surprisingly had a bit of an Asian flavor to it - think Chinese tea eggs but which came with a side of plantains / eggplant that we weren't crazy about)It was loud even in the open space of the rooftop. The waiters came to clear our plates and utensils immediately after the appetizers were cleared, but didn't come by often to refill water or ask if we needed anythingOverall, might return, but Lincoln road also has a lot of other restaurants that I might prefer to try over this one.

I give Juvia 5 stars for the view and ambiance and 4 stars for the food. I love the menu. Usually I am very decisive in all areas of my life. But this menu(?). Should I have the awesome Pork Belly or the Cerviche? What do I feel like fish or the Porterhouse? All are great choices. Would it be wrong to order all of the choices I want? No and sharing family style works. The food is great and the staff is equally great. Very chill. Very accommodating. Great bar and the fu fu drinks look wonderful. And the occasional sips I have had back that up. But I prefer Bourbon. Neat. Diet Coke back. Or a very dirty vodka martini which they make well here.As others have said finding the door is the most annoying part of the experience. The restroom is also not designed well. That aside the experience at Juvia is worth it. Great for a pre-club meal or a recovery brunch.

One word: VIEWS. It's on the top floor of Lincoln road and the views are absolutely breathtaking. Fair warning; it's expensive so save your coins before coming here. Their drinks are delicious. I personally haven't tried the food, when I went I was on an all-liquid diet, if you catch my drift, and saved all my calories for yummy cocktails! They didn't disappoint!
