The place to go if you want to have original japanese sushi - fast and amazing fish quality! Arrive early, it gets crowded fast, but turnover of tables is also quick.

NOT WORTH THE 2 HOUR WAIT. NOT FOR EXPERIENCED SUSHI LOVERS. There are too many people allowed inside of the small restaurant. People have kids sitting on the floor next to tables, people standing along the front window, and people crowding the door. It looks like a fire hazard. Once seated, we noticed that the server washed the dishes (barely) in a single sink and quickly rinsed them. His hands dripping with dish water while serving people dishes, one was bowls of soup (for sure water dripped into their soup). We ordered 2 yellowtail and scallion hand rolls and requested the yellowtail to be chopped up small (which is what we always order at every sushi restaurant without issue), the server looked confused, said something in his language to the sushi chef, then a few minutes later says they do not have negi hamachi (which is not what we asked for). He then he asked if we want hamachi sashimi and we say ok. We asked how many pieces does an order of ikura come and he could not understand the question so we just ordered 4 (which is our usual order) and he says that’s too much but writes it down anyway. The ikura was very salty and had an undesirable aftertaste. The tako sashimi was fresh, we asked for 2 pieces and he didn’t explain 1 order sashimi comes with 4 pieces and brought us 8 pieces (2 orders). The shrimp shumai was disgusting and did not taste like any shrimp was inside. We received 2 yellowtail hand rolls even though the server made it seem like we weren’t going to get them.. The negitoro and yellowtail hand rolls were 80% rice but the fish was fresh. 4 hand rolls, 2 tako sashimi, 4 ikura sashimi, 1 shrimp shumai, 1 hamachi sashimi came to $103 and $125 with tip. Definitely not worth it. We will continue to drive 45 minutes to Matsuri once a week.

I’ve been coming here for years and truly love the food – it’s delicious, and the concept is amazing.
However, the customer service has become unacceptable. The hostess inside the bar is always extremely busy, which is understandable, but it’s honestly shocking how she blatantly ignores you when you try to get her attention.
The male host, on the other hand, is outright rude and arrogant — to the point that I’d even describe his behavior as verbally abusive. The way he speaks to people is completely inappropriate.
Maybe alongside his English course, he could take a customer service class too.
It’s really disappointing because the food is great, but the customer service is terrible.

I'm from New York and I can honestly say this place has great Sushi for a very reasonable price. Very authentic, whole in the wall in the best way possible. The boats with the sushi gives it a very unique experience. The place was super busy on a Wednesday and the wait was about 40 minutes. We went next door for beers while we waited and it was worth the wait. Food was delicious, the ginger and wasabi was fresh as well as all the sushi. Service was tough love with lots of smiles, because they are so busy ! Over all 10/10 amazing experience!

Terrible service and rude (male) host. They don’t care to tell you that you can put your name on the list yourself. So various people walked in after me and put their names ahead of me. When I asked the host, he just laughed at me. Sushi is overpriced and not up to par on quality.
I shouldn't be giving away how great this spot is, but if you're already here it's too late to stop you

The place is not half of what it used to be. Now it was Publix’s quality rolls. Arrived at 530 sat at 730 chef was so busy I spend more than 2 hours waiting for mediocre food. Being here more than 30 times over 10 years. I won’t come back

The green tea was not terrible. It was wild witnessing a private investors committee meeting supper, and we are appreciative for being invited.
