🌓 Boutique pool vibes, not resort flex šŸ–ļø Two blocks from the sand with beach chairs & towels included — great for beach days on demand šŸļøāœØ Rooftop pool = cute, rooms = spacious and chill šŸ›ļøšŸ˜Ž BUT amenities are limited (no big gym/spa) and it can feel more boutique hideout than full‑on luxury šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¹ Perfect if you plan to live outside your room!

If you enjoy paying 5 star rates for about 1 or 2 star experience, then this your place!
Spacious rooms-yes
Accommodating and lovely staff-yes
Nice Rooftop-yes (get there early though because seating is limited)

Rooms need a severe refresh.
Deplorable.
Pics do not depict the way the rooms are. At least ours didn't.

Furniture is stained, scuffed...As well as bathroom vanities, and floors.(from furniture bring dragged and paint splattered on the floor). Clogged sinks..Stained ceramics in bathroom. Caulking is stained and disgusting.
Beside getting hit in th head after the shower rod falling off the wall while im taking a shower, and watching my step so I dont wipe out in the shower because the tiles do not have no slip on them...well im not sure what to say.
Floor 3 needs a refresh. Even the carpets in the hallway are torn and worn.

Im not one to complain, but after seeing the sink back up and the whitish stains on the couch 😳😳, the experiencing the shower incident? I wanted to forewarn my fellow traveler.

We booked 5 nights at Angler’s in Miami Beach. We usually stay elsewhere, but decided to try something else. We had to leave after one night. The suite we booked was a loft with one king bed. It was a horrible stay. The room smelled of mold, it was also not used or cleaned in a while as there was dust on walls. The furniture is old, the bathrooms are old and dirty as well. The air conditioning, when it was on, roared like a wild animal. And the suite is facing another building so it was always dark. We asked for another room and they didn’t have any, so our only option was to flee and stay elsewhere. Maybe it was just this one suite at the hotel, and the rest are wonderful. But the hotel should not have it available until the issues with the smell and air conditioning are resolved, at the least. I gave it a two star review because the staff was nice and friendly and accommodating. BTW, when I was checking out they were not the least surprised that I am leaving because of the room. Therefore, I am sure I was not the first one. I was charged $450 for one night, for the stay that I would probably value at a $90, maybe $120 because of the staff. Extremely disappointed.

The menu clearly states ā€œbuild your ownā€, and I selected all the options according to the choices provided. The only thing I didn’t select was the egg, because I understood that it was already included in the set.

When the food arrived, there was no egg at all. I waited, assuming it would be brought out later, but even after I finished the entire meal, it still never came.

When I asked the server at the end, she said that the set does include an egg, but it wasn’t served because I didn’t specifically ask for it. Honestly, isn’t it the server’s responsibility to clarify this with the customer?

I then asked if I could get the egg at that point, and was told it was no longer possible. So I basically paid for a build-your-own omelette… without the omelette, which is quite absurd.

On top of that, water was not poured or offered when we were seated — only if you asked. Overall, a very strange experience.

Be careful! They claim to give you free additions such as beach towels, sunbeds on the beach etc and take a deposit of $200 when you arrive. They don’t tell you till you check out that these ā€˜free additions’ actually cost $40 per person and will be deducted from the deposit. Very very disappointed because of this deceitful behaviour.

Beware of surprise extra charges!!
You can expect unpleasant surprises on your credit card bill.
Parking (valet-only) is $45 which is outrageously expensive. Public parking just around the corner for $20.
Also, I've got an unexplained extra charge, no idea what for..

Too bad, because it is a nice hotel with great location.
Why do they have to rob you????

Enjoyed everything about my stay here! The rooms and amenities are amazing, the pool/bar/lounge is fabulous, and the location cannot be beat. Would for sure stay here again if I’m ever back in South Beach.

Top notch resort/hotel. Two pools, great guests services and amazing restaurants.

The hotel is beautiful. They have complimentary drinks at check in and evening reception. It is close to the beach and had free lounge chairs on the beach. They also have free bikes that you can use from sun up to sun down. It is very close to lots of food options. If you are going to do the Big Bus hop on and hop off, it is just a block away which was very nice. The only downfall for us what that we got a hot tub room and it was on the walkway with no privacy. They put up privacy screens for us but it was still a location that many people can see you especially will all the balconies up above. It was also by the road and restaurant so a little noisy but noting too obnoxious. Aside from that, the bed was comfortable and the decorated very nicely. They offer many things if you forget them which was nice. Would stay here again but not in the hot tub room.

I recently stayed at the Kimpton angler in South Beach and Vanessa made my stay very special very thankful to her and her team.

The restaurant on site is really good. They have real food ingredients which is really hard to find these days. The manager and servers were really nice.

They have gluten-free avocado toast, which is also really hard to find these days!

This location is two blocks away from the beach and one block away from Equinox Which was important to me when booking.

This is a newer building so I didn’t experience mold symptoms which was also important to me when booking.

My wife and I stayed in one of the bungalows with the hot tub out front...definitely the best way to stay at a hotel...Staff was great and the restaurants at the hotel were excellent
