If I could give zero stars, I would. My table of three waited over an hour to be seated. When we were seated, they sat us outside on a patio that was not heated, it was 50 or so outside by the way. Multiple servers were either standing around or steering at us. We finally flagged one over after sitting at the table for almost 30 minutes to take our order. She politely told us that she wasn’t supposed to be taking our order, and that we just needed to be patient to wait on our server but she would make an exception to get the water. They eventually brought our blankets sometime later. But at this point, we have been there for almost 2 hours, and all we got were waters.
I also agree with some of the other negative reviews on here. That they don’t pick up the phone, so if you wanted to make a last-minute reservation or if you were running a few minutes behind, you would have no way to get in touch with them. Or even place us to go order or something. And some of the staff are just rude, or honestly just incompetent. It’s really weird, especially if you are going to be a restaurant with a fine dining price point. Like if you had an appetizer, an entree, dessert, and one or two drinks, that with the automatic 20% gratuity could easily bring any individuals bill up to about $200. And for that price point, there are literally hundreds of restaurant options in Miami that you can go to and have a much better experience.
I’m only giving them two stars on the food, because at least I got one drink, a mezcal and melon drink and it was pretty tasty. It was also $23 lol.

My experience at Las' Lap was excellent from beginning to end! The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful. The service by the wait staff was top notch. They were knowledgeable about every item on the menu, made great recommendations and were attentive throughout our dining experience. The food was amazing, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. I loved the concept of ordering multiple shareable dishes for the table and them being brought out throughout the night as more of a tasting menu.

The food was good (the cuban oxtail was delicious but maybe a bit overpriced, the lamb ribs were the star) but the best part was the amazing service from Claudia: attentive, white glove service. She made our night.
You will feel like you are outside Miami! Music is great and food and service is on point!

I stumbled upon this restaurant my last day in Miami…. such a coincidence. Once I discovered Chef Kwame owned this I booked a reservation asap. The food, drinks and service were absolutely phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. The ambiance and service from the staff truly makes this a 5 star establishment. The bartenders pictured were amazing!! Highly recommend laś lap and will visit every Miami trip 💕

A truly unique experience in a very out of the way location right on south beach. It's completely worth looking for and experiencing this menu from Chef Kwame Onwuachi. We had on our bucket list to go to tatiana's in new york. But right here in our very own backyard, is an excellent representation of high end gourmet food. Each dish better than the last. The first dish superb.

Very good, attentive but not overbearing service, creative, chef in the building! unique flavors. Nice crowd, small menu which is a good thing, inodor seating more interesting than outside which is water side, depends what you want. Definitely go back, shared plates make S beach prices kinda affordable.

Flew into town on a random Sunday for dinner here. It did not disappoint! lovely ambiance and decor, everyone from the hostess to the bartender(s) were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic! We got the prawns(delicious unexpected preparation) oysters(fresh and delicious) lamb ribs(oh my goodness) and sticky wings (perfect crisp, excellent flavor, all flatssss) I’m a fan of chef Kwame, him and his excellent staff do it again

I had a great time here. The music is great, service and ambience are 10/10. I had the stewed chicken and it was juicy and tender. I will plan to come back when I’m in town next.

Absolutely excellent service, music, and cocktails. Some of the dishes we had needed a little bit of work. Others were fantastic. Overall, a great new spot in Miami, if maybe a little expensive.

After seeing the food and the menu we knew instantly we had to try it. Little did we know it was going to be an amazing experience. The pictures don’t do justice to how great this place is. Every dish was so unique and each presented itself with flavors you won’t experience anywhere else. The staff were incredibly kind and personable. Our server helped us navigate the menu and shared his recommendations. We loved every single dish along with the sauces. I will return again when I visit Miami. We absolutely loved it.

Was especially excited to try Chef Kwame’s Miami endeavor as his NY restaurant is ravely reviewed, and it did not disappoint. Food, cocktails, service, and ambiance all were great. The elevated Caribbean menu is interesting and innovative while still highlighting authentic flavors of the region. The dorade, doubles, and wagyu lasso were all standouts, but everything we tried was delicious. Jeffrey our server was very knowledgeable about every dish, and took care to give us a lovely experience.
