Found this little hole in the wall bakery on Washington Ave. My wife tried the ham and egg sandwich which was freshly made and was delicious. I went with a small Nutella croissant which was very tasty. Locals make this a busy place in the early morning. Only issue we had was finding a place to sit because they have very few seats. Definitely worth a stop
They changed ownership. The new one Matthieu is a truly and real french pastry and bread artist. Just bought local 3 weeks ago and need renovations but what matters, the french pastry is just real french,no frozen like Chez Paul. Croissants are amazing and so is the bread.
Stopped here for breakfast before my family boarded a cruise ship because the 11st Street Diner was closed for the day due to mechanical issues. We were blown away at how amazing and fresh everything was. It is a true french bakery and everything was amazing. I think the best item we got was the french toast.
