Both the ravioli with pesto sauce and the pistachio tiramisu were amazing. The tiramisu had a generous amount of ladyfingers, which is something many places often skimp on.

A bit loud and dim, but the food was absolutely delicious. The freshness of the ingredients. The jars of sauce everywhere. Must get a pizza. Calamari and the artichoke special!

Lucali is one of those places that keeps it simple and gets it right. We sat outside and it was airy, relaxed, and honestly the perfect way to enjoy a New York pizza night without feeling cramped. The space feels unfussy and confident. Nothing overdesigned, just good energy and people there for the food.

We ordered the Bianca and asked for hot peppers on one side, which was the right move. The crust is thin with just enough char and structure to hold that beautiful layer of melted mozzarella and ricotta. The Bianca is rich but not heavy, and the hot peppers added the perfect kick without overpowering the balance. Every slice felt intentional.

The kale Caesar with chicken was equally solid. Crisp kale, well dressed, generous parmesan, and the chicken was cooked properly, which matters more than people think. It’s the kind of salad that actually holds its own next to the pizza instead of feeling like an afterthought.

No pasta for us this time, and honestly we didn’t miss it. When the pizza is this good, you lean in.

Food was good but extremely over priced. Plain pizza is $32 and adding a couple toppings your over $50 for a pizza. Meatballs were good but only two medium size meatballs for $23. Should have been at least four for that price.

Go for the signature plain pie with half green pepper and let it speak for itself! Leave the basil on, and douse with the house hot pepper olive oil!

I honestly don’t understand the hype about this place at all. This was an awful experience from start to finish. The pizza was cold, poorly made, and completely flavorless—like eating a dry cracker. There was practically no sauce and barely any cheese. Charging $60 for pizza of this quality is outrageous and feels like a rip-off. This is some of the worst pizza I’ve had. I will never return and absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone.

The pizza was fine. The service was atrocious. The hostess and waiters were so high on themselves and rude to customers. I will never return here because of the service.

Lucali definitely lives up to its reputation as one the best NY Brooklyn style Pizza that you can get. I tried it with ham, pepperoni and sausage and it is probably the best pizza that I have ever had. It has a PERFECT balance of fresh tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, on a slightly charred, crispy crust, hot from the oven. The meat was plentiful and perfectly complemented the base. It would be my go to pizza if it wasn’t so far from where I live. I went on December 27th, for lunch, and there was plenty of seating. Don’t follow the Resy availability (as it’s not accurate) or online recommendations that reservations are required and long waits as it isn’t as bad as what it says online. Just go!

I had the absolute worst experience here. The meatballs came with a long blonde hair (I’m brunette). I returned the plate. The manager came out and not only did he not apologize he insisted on the fact that it must have been mine because the person that makes the meatballs is male… awful. I wasn’t looking for a discount just grossed out and now appalled.

Really enjoyed the experience here. The pizza was delicious, and serving sizes were actually bigger than our expectations. Ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Staff were kind and attentive. This place definitely has some of the best pies in Miami. Definitely recommended.

Food is always top-notch, simple menu with high-quality ingredients. The kale caesar is among the best I’ve tried.

However, it seems that they continue to jack up the prices. $17 for a fairly basic Tuscan wine seems a bit excessive.
