A truly calm and luxurious atmosphere. The food is genuine and beautifully prepared, and the red wine was excellent. Maria took great care of us with warm, attentive service. A wonderful experience overall.

I visited a few weeks ago for my solo birthday celebration and loved the atmosphere here! I made a reservation to dine outside and was warmly welcomed and taken to a table immediately upon arrival. Everyone from the hostess to the server were very kind and made sure to check in a few times during the meal and refilled my water glass without asking. Special thank you to Ivana and Jonathan. I ordered the chipotle chicken tacos and vodka thyme lemonade which were all delicious! Would highly recommend to try this place out!

Service was good and the food was quite good. We enjoyed the truffle pizza, filet mignon wingtips and the chicken and rice. Drinks were solid and the bar service was nice. The prices were also reasonable. Something didn’t click all the way, maybe because we went early and was a bit quiet. Regardless, will try again.

I’ve eaten here twice and love the vibe! The service is top tier. Especially Sebastian!! Always has a smile on his face and makes great recommendations. The matador mule is my new fav cocktail and the truffle pizza is 10/10.

Truly a spectacular experience! We had the entire restaurant to ourselves, VIP seating on the window with exceptional service from Maria and David, whom must of stopped by our table at least a dozen times to check if we were having a great time. The flavors and presentation were fantastic, especially the tuna tartar, and Nutella croissant which is served warmed! Oh la la!

Edition Hotel is my favorite place to stay during my holidays or visits, from the relaxing vibe to the awesome aroma, it’s my number one. I love it and I highly recommend it! Matador Room is great place to have cocktails before going out.

We were excited to visit Matador in South Beach. We are long time favorites of Jean George.
The restaurant is lovely and elegant, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The service was great. Our server Maria was friendly, engaging and welcoming.
The food, however, was incredibly inconsistent. The avocado toast and the French toast were absolutely delicious. Clearly the sign of a master chef. The salad with grill chicken and the pasta were inedible. It would appear that the grill chicken was sous vide and tasted like rubber. The pasta was mushy and we sent it back. The second time was no better. Those two dishes were unprofessionally prepared.
Overall, the meal was confusing. Several items were truly great and others were truly horrible. I would be embarrassed if this was my restaurant given the inconsistency of the dishes.
We have traveled and eaten food from all over the world. Customers deserve better.

A Memorable Night at The Matador Room – Miami Beach

We had the pleasure of dining at The Matador Room this past Saturday for a special dinner with a party of eight, and everything about the evening was picture-perfect.

Upon arrival, the hostess graciously led us to our table while sharing a bit of history about the stunning dining room — originally the ballroom of the iconic Seville Hotel. She noted that the chandelier, still hanging above us, was the original fixture, now repainted from its classic seafoam green to white.

Our server, Carlos, was exceptional — attentive, warm, and professional. One of our guests has food allergies, and Carlos was extremely accommodating, making sure the kitchen was aware and that all dishes were prepared safely.

The food? Absolutely fantastic. I ordered the Arroz con Pollo, as did a few others, and it was phenomenal. We also shared a variety of tacos and appetizers, each more delicious than the last. Every dish was flavorful, well-portioned, and beautifully presented.

We were celebrating a very meaningful cancer-free anniversary, and the evening took an even more heartfelt turn when the manager stopped by our table to offer sincere congratulations. Toward the end of the meal, we were surprised with a massive dessert tray — on the house — as a gift from the chef and staff. It came with a hand-signed card from the entire restaurant team, including the kitchen, with thoughtful personal notes. It was an incredibly warm and touching gesture.

Overall, the experience was unforgettable. Thank you to The Edition Miami Beach and The Matador Room for making our celebration truly special. We’ll remember this night for years to come.
