This lounge picks ,choose and refuse who they want to accept in the club. Myself and 8 other females tried to get in for a birthday get together and the bouncer said we needed reservations. He said he had 25 reservations already and he cant accept anymore. He also told us the club was veryyy small and it holds 180 people. Meanwhile, we saw everyone else walking in freely and easily . At this point we felt there was discrimination. We were all women of color. I will never recommend this lounge.

I like going occasionally because it reminds me of the best mst exclusive selective clique underground.clubs that i used 2go 2 bck in england like china whites or any of the others in europe! Long may it continue!!peace9

We were two hot couples that showed up as walk ins on a Monday after leaving club Rockwell, the clown at the door of Mokai tells us we can't get in unless we pay $5,000 at the door when the place closed in 3 hours. Nice way of telling us to f*** off. We are from Mami and understand you have to drop $$$ to get bottle service in the VIP, but $5,000 for just three hours not even including bottle service is a mockery. You well now mister slick at the door was gonna pocket most of that. So unless you know someone there that can get you in for a reasonable price in advance, don't even bother showing up as they are dishonest and disrespectful thieves in this venue.

Considered as one of the oldest and most popular nightclubs in Miami. Mokai is well known for its traditional Monday night party. Currently, they only open 4 nights a week ( Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday). They shut down their Sunday night venue. It was always empty anyway, nothing to worry about. They have the best Djs and the perfect decor. The only issue is the cost, this is a very pricey place. Be aware.of that
