I have been to Monty's for several years now and unfortunately, this place used to be good. I recently took my family here, and there was something wrong with everyone's food. The fish and chips had no taste whatsoever (also tasted like it came from a frozen bag), the Philly cheesecake was overly seasoned, and my Mahi Mahi sandwich was soggy in the bottom (which had a soapy taste). To be quite honest with you, the food was disgusting. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favor and go to another place to eat. We honestly did not enjoy the food. We didn't turn back the food because it was just embarrassing to say that everyone's food was bad.

I’s a nice marina setting and they’ll get visitors based solely on the location. There’s a lot to like about this place, but a couple of the bartenders working there last Saturday were complete “dooshbags”. Thin guy with dark hair and a goatee especially.I am always super nice to server staff etc. and a big tipper. This guy was as surly as could be and ignored us although we never raised our voices demanding service etc. It was NOT very busy. It’s amazing cus they’re just costing themselves money. When I worked in restaurants I was as friendly as I could be- even if I was having a bad day. I wanted tips! I’ve seen this a few different places recently- certainly not everywhere. I don’t get it. Perhaps it wasn’t busy on a Saturday afternoon for a reason. ?♂️

I'll give you my opinion, great area for sunsets, great that they comp four hours of free parking, just don't pay the parking system and hurry to Monty's to get the QR code and ya you'll be fine. Service is great, environment is fun but can get loud and guest can get rowdy but it's safe, young coward at times but good for all ages, drinks are good but a little pricy in my opinion, they do have drink specials, ok the food is not good, no taste, not fresh, I will go for drinks but will eat somewhere else, for party of two, lunch and two drinks came out to $100. Check receipt, they add an 18% service charge automatically, just a heads up most places in this area do the same so don't double tip. Have fun and enjoy a nice sunset.

Totally down home, unpretentious, old school outdoor drinking hole with decent live music and a great view of the sunset over downtown Miami. The food is meh, but you probably didn't come for that anyway!

Amazing raw bar and the menu is great ! From monday to friday 5-8 pm they have happy hour as well ! Excellent fast service ? the tuna tartare is just so feedh and tasty, must try !

We love going to Montys but we aren't there for the food or the rude bartenders. These guys never make eye contact with folks waiting for service. In fact they will clean the bar, put the receipts through the register , fix the Napkins and still will never make one eye contact in at least letting the customer know they see them and will get to them shortly. Honestly the complete worst everytime we go. Lol You can't make this up. But when then finally get to you and you exhale, you'll see your in the best spot as far as a view if you stay closest to the the boats. We have a drink and walk the beautiful walkway where you are close to the cruise ships leaving the port. Good luck in getting that drink tho.
