The cocktails were tasty, and the room is cute. All of the food we had was made well in advance. The ceviche appetizer was dry and flavorless. It came with a few fried banana chips. Most of them were broken once we at the couple on top. About 2 minutes after the appetizer and drinks were delivered, the entrees arrived. Everything was from a steam table, except the green salad. The salad was made a while ago and refrigerated, and the tomatoes had done what tomatoes do after extended refrigeration. Mushy. My piccadillo tasted *okay*, but was exceptionally greasy. My dining partner had chicken that was tough and dry. The rice was not bad.
It's clear that this is another South Beach restaurant that doesn't care.

Absolutely excellent atmosphere with lots of unique decorations and wonderful music. Drinks and food came extremely fast - almost too fast, as we were enjoying taking in the whole scene. Gorgeous outdoor seating areas and comfortable, beautiful, fun indoor area. Food and drinks were delicious. 100% recommend and would eat there again! Loved the family history behind the restaurant, too.

We stumbled upon Morenos in Miami Beach, and it instantly felt like home—especially since we can’t make it to Cuba right now. The atmosphere is lively, welcoming, and full of that unmistakable Cuban charm.
Omar was exceptional from start to finish. Everything he recommended was spot-on. The tostones with picadillo were perfectly crisp, the Morenos Cuban sandwich was unbelievably flavorful, and the flan… absolutely divine, the kind that makes you stop mid-conversation. And of course, enjoying a cold Cerveza Hatuey just sealed the experience—pure nostalgia in a bottle.
If you’re craving authentic Cuban food with amazing service, this is the place. Morenos truly feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended!
