The server and also the menu suggest that the portions are large and meant to be shared. However, the four nickel sized dumplings we received for $15 suggested otherwise. The lamb meal for about $38 is essentially an open faced gyro. It's not bad but wildly overpriced and not much of a sharable size. No bread or anything else was offered with the meal. No sides were offered, other than an undergrilled pepper with the lamb. The taste of most of the sauces and items were pleasant but I don't understand how this place is so hyped up, especially for how extraordinarily expensive it is. Nothing was that spectacular.

As a frequent customer of Motek, both dining in and taking out, I was quite disappointed at the service received at this location. I felt as though I was treated poorly tonight during my take out order. Not only did I feel rushed but was asked to pay immediately before receiving my order. I made a comment to the server that he was being very fast and he stated that he had previously had someone walk out without paying. While this is understandable, there was definitely a lack in proper tone and customer service. I paid and waited for my order which eventually ended up sitting for some time before I had to ask a different waiter to please check if it was ready. On our way out not only did our original waiter almost walk into my partner and I (he was looking down at an electronic device while walking around the restaurant) but failed to apologize or even wish us a good night. Due to poor customer service and hospitality, I will refrain from visiting this particular location in the future.

The classic Shakshuka with Challah and Israeli breakfast with a Jerusalem bagel were so good ?

This is the best take on Israeli food I've tried in the US so far, and that says a lot... Everything was delicious, especially the hummus & pita (which are so hard to get right!) and the Jerusalem bagel. Please open Motek in the bay area!

WOW!!! First off Ariana was an amazing server. We had some nice conversations and she recommended some great food. Renato also was very good helping us whenever we needed anything and sparking good conversations. Not to mention the food is AMAZING for such a good price. The chicken schnitzel challah might be my new favorite sandwich until I try the ribeye on a baguette. My wife and I got three appetizers and a sandwich and it was 110 dollars which I think is great for the quality of food. This restaurant is a must for anyone staying in Miami Beach.

Average place average food, average service. Except they add 20% service charge for everyone. No incentive for the staff to provide good service and it shows.

Food was pretty good, expensive though. Wouldn’t recommend the dumplings, flavorless either the cauliflower couscous, too dry. We found the service bad/rude. A minimum of 5 people came to us, asking the same things, the waiters/managers wouldn’t agree within each other and at the end the manager didn’t considerate our opinion and pushed back when sharing our feedback.

Pretty good food but lousy service. My server was busy talking to someone and literally ignored me. Apparently the owner didn't care.

Our first day on vacation we walked to this restaurant down the street from where we were staying. So glad we did! We were greeted promptly and a table was setup with no prior reservations. Our food was so delicious and appetizing. Our server Drogon was absolutely on top of everything and made sure we were treated exceptionally. My wife and baby enjoyed the food and I can’t say enough they went above and beyond not to forget the food!! ❤️

I really liked the place, Ariana's attention was fantastic, I loved that she spoke in Spanish, for a tourist like me who doesn't speak English very well that was spectacular, plus the food was 100/100 delicious.
