Underwhelming other than the bread.
We had breakfast here today. We ordered the Isreali breakfast, shakshuka, and the Turkish pita. Highly recommend!!! Service was also excellent!
Pita was great, hummus with mushrooms decent, but everything else was mediocre. I normally don't write reviews but they had the chutzpah to send out a chicken kabob that was small chunks of dry, dark meat with nothing with it. Way overpriced and zero effort put into the kabob. I live a block away and honestly expected much better. I had the Israeli breakfast. It was basically just dips with a Jerusalem bagel. I'm Israeli and I've definitely had far better. Should have had some olives, artichokes, a few small salads, coffee, juice and all of the stuff that goes with it. Really disappointing. To their credit, other things coming out looked better, but who serves a kabob that's just a few morsels of dark meat with nothing else? $100 out the door for a few dips with a bagel, a few pieces of dark meat chicken, hummus and a coffee.
The food here is excellent, with great Israeli brunch options. Definitely a solid spot for a weekend meal. However, the service didn’t quite match the quality of the food. Our waiter took quite a while to take our order and wasn’t very attentive throughout the meal. Still worth a visit for the food, but service could use improvement.
Horrible experience! Will not ever go back and don’t recommend to go at all. I had a situation when I lost my ring there and someone took it and nobody helped , manager wasn’t helpful at all !! I asked to get a footage from the camera. They refused to.. I still waited for two hours. They never showed the videos of who went to the bathroom. They were not helpful at all. Maybe they even took the ring. They never offer any discount they never offer anything to help to make my day goes better. That was very expensive Van Cleef ring and they did not help at all . so Think twice before going there plus they don’t have alcohol in the food is not that great . Personal experience
Great restaurant! Delicious middle eastern food in a non pretentious atmosphere and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the hummus that is creamy, light and perfectly seasoned. You can always add olive oil on top if you want. Paired with a warm soft pita, this dish is fantastic. The chopped salad is also very good. Other diners at the table enjoyed their entrees including the chicken schnitzel and the shawarma. I would definitely come back here again.
Impeccable service and incredibly authentic food ! And it was BYOB! Sad to go back to Montreal, there's nothing like Motek anywhere else.
The most delicious food!
The waitress Ariana is the best with her excellent service and charisma!
went to Motek cafe today and asked if they had freshly squeezed orange juice. The waitress said yes, they squeezed it this morning. When she brought the order, the juice turned out to be from a carton.
Motek is spot-on! Fantastic dishes and excellent service! Awesome experience!

One of the best restaurants I've been to, I recommend it to everyone
The best restaurant ever. Highly recommend
Ariana was absolutely fabulous and so attentive to us! Provided great recommendations!
Manuel provided exceptional service which really enhanced our experience. Excellent food! Everything we tasted was delicious.
Amazing Hip restaurant with unmissable hugo pita break with hummus, rice bowls, crunchy chicken streetfood. Amazed that they serve all-day brunch and desserts. Found online they are a kosher-style Mediterranean restaurant with influences from their ancestors from Lebanon, Morocco, Turkey, Yemen and more. Very unforgettable! :)
