A South Beach institution for good reason. Great food, excellent service, reasonable prices, and a perfect location for people watching. Excellent portion sizes and the kind of menu where everyone in your party will find something to enjoy. We especially loved the salmon. Full of flavor and cooked to perfection.
When we made our dinner reservation I told the restaurant that it was my son’s 13th birthday. At the end of the meal they brought out a piece of chocolate cake (delicious) and a candle and made his night! We’ll be back the next time we’re in South Beach.

Our favourite place in Miami (and maybe in the world). We go there almost every day when in South Beach. News Café is truly the place to be: amazing vibes, a great atmosphere, and you can instantly feel how much history the place holds. No show-off energy. Even though, every now and then, some big guy pulls up in a Lamborghini and casually asks the valet to park it. But overall it’s just chilled people enjoying great food. No loud music, just a slow tempo with classic covers in the background. Roberto, Maluma, Maria and the rest of the team make you feel at home, and it’s honestly impressive how many times they check in to make sure you have everything you need. The brewed Italian coffee (with refills) is awesome. Of course prices have gone up a bit lately but pretty much like everywhere in SoBe; here it's definitely worth it. Go there, you won't regret. Fabulous food and service. One tip: Our waiter said they do not have tap water and instead offered a bottle of Acqua Panna. It’s not listed on the menu. I pushed back and the waiter relented and brought tap water, which was fine and saved us what I learned later would have been $13 a bottle.
