My wife’s dish (ragú) tasted like chef boyardee. Mine was ok, the oxtail basically tasted like beef stew. The service was basic. They took our order, brought the food, then the check, the basics. No hospitality whatsoever. They also did not have tap water so we were charged $7.50 for bottled water without telling us there was a charge (we asked for tap water). The bill was over $112 for two pasta entrees, a 3oz glass of wine and water. They automatically charge 20% service charge.Way over priced for the quality, taste and service.

Fried food was limp and undercooked. Tables too small to hold meal and drinks. Excellent bread and wine. Had to ask waiter for everything. Expensive for quality of the meal.

Brando is an excellent waiter, everything is 100 out of 100, the pasta is made from scratch, the cocktails are exquisite and the tiramisu is spectacular, thanks Brando.

Mateo provided us with excellent service. We ordered bruchetta, cacio e pepe and meat pastra with chianti wine. Quiet atmosphere and you can see how they prepare pasta from scratch. Located very well on Lincoln Road. Greetings from Panama!!

While we ate there my children were watching the pasta being made through the window when an the lady making the pasta began yelling at them. She claimed they were touching the window and the window was loose and could fall on her, but they were really not doing anything wrong, she seemed in a very bad mood and was very rude. She continued to be rude throughout the rest of our meal, banging loudly on the bathroom door while we were inside and giving my son frightening looks. It was a very uncomfortable.

I sent my 16 year old son with his girlfriend to have lunch. They obviously cant drink alcohol. When he asked for water, they told him they did not have tap water and sold him two bottles of still for $15 each. Not very honest on the part of the waiter.

It’s well overpriced. We were charged 20% tips and the waiter said that the 20% is for the cooks and back of the house staffs. (The waiter said it very vague). He requested us to give another % on the POS for service fee, which is very ridiculous. No water given and said only bottled water is available. Total for 2 people is around 120 for two pastas, a bottle of water, and a tiramisu. The oxtail pasta was good tho. But I rather give that extra tips to someone else.

The first time I went to this place was January 2023, recommended by friends and my experience was more than positive, from the guys in the room to the dishes we were able to eat and we were curious to try the whole menu!!! Mindful of this experience, we couldn't wait to go back and the opportunity came just a few days ago... I had never done it... staff distracted and not very attentive to customer needs, food of absolutely poor quality from the products to the yield on the plate... in addition we were slavishly interrupted and annoyed by a person who was not on the staff, probably an owner by the way he dressed and the way he behaved, which put the icing on the cake of this terrible experience... never again!!!!

The pasta alla carbonara was delicious with the crispy pork cheeks and so much pecorino cheese.
But the service wasn’t what the 20% already included tip could let us hope.
Just polite but absolutely not friendly.
There was no atmosphere at all.
It’s a pity since we are locals, this could have become our pasta address for a regular basis.
But it won’t.
When you pay 100$ for 2 pasta and a bottle of still water, you are expecting more.
