Look, the view is beautiful, BUT, I have been here multiple times, we came for an event tonight, bought tickets 1 month in advance…. The food took 2.5 hours to arrive. It was a 5-8pm event. Food arrived at 8:30pm. We had to bring our baby and it was daylight savings so we figured maximum 1 hour delay. We wait 2.5 hours for our food. This venue is great for a drink but don’t go for dinner and don’t organize events because they have ABSOLUTELY no clue how to manage or plan. They also gave no receipts for my drinks …. I love the ambience so I’m VERY upset. There are many other places to go in Miami Beach, unfortunately this is not your stop.

Pamplemousse On The Bay is a decent option if your main goal is to enjoy sunset views with a cocktail or a glass of wine. The setting by the water is definitely the highlight, and it can be quite pleasant during golden hour.

That said, the food is a major letdown. The menu options are weak and don’t really justify staying for a full meal. This is not a place I’d recommend if food quality is a priority.

If you come in knowing that you’re there mainly for the views and drinks, you’ll likely be fine. Otherwise, there are much better dining options elsewhere. Be cautious and set expectations accordingly.

This place is an absolute hidden gem in South Beach, and the location alone makes it special. It’s one of the only restaurants that’s truly directly on the water. We were sitting about two feet from the edge, watching the sun set over the water while we ate. The vibe is romantic and perfectly done. It feels sexy, salty, and upscale, but still relaxed and comfortable, not stiff or pretentious.
We went for Valentine’s Day and the Valentine’s menu was excellent. Everything felt thoughtfully put together and paced really well, and it actually lived up to the occasion instead of feeling like a rushed “special menu” situation.
The meat was a standout. It was so tender it literally fell apart in your mouth. Perfectly cooked, rich, and just really satisfying in that way where you can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing.
Also, the prices are very reasonable for what you’re getting, especially for a waterfront spot in South Beach with this kind of atmosphere.
Overall, it’s an amazing date-night restaurant and the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell people about because it still feels like a secret. If you want a romantic night with a killer view, great food, and a vibe that feels special without draining your wallet, THIS is the place.

I went to this restaurant yesterday and all can say was view was spectacular. However the servivce needs more work. We sat down and had the appetizers that came with the Valentine's Day meal. At $119.00 per person it was overpriced and not worth 119.00 per person. After we ate the appetizers we waited 1 hour and after hounding the waitress which was very nice.. They finally brought the food and the only that was hot were potatoes. So in enclosing I spent $474.00 my hard earned to have a horrible Valentines Day dinner for my wife and family. Staley from this place unless you are looking for a nice view because the food was expensive and served at room temperature.

We had high hopes for this place. We booked in advance and were failed to be told there was a set menu for Valentine's Day.
Nothing like their regular menu that seemed enticing.
We were very disappointed with the service and the food. Our waitress did not ask for refills until the end of our stay and told us they were out of tea. (We were the first few people here) Steak tataki was not tataki style what so ever.
Our ribeye was returned as it was Blue, doused in butter & not medium rare, potatoes lacking flavor. The Dover sole and lamb were both lacking flavor. Dessert was nothing special and just looked like a messy display of mush. Overall very disappointing. Very poor set menu.

Took forever to be served. $119/ person Valentine's Day pre fixed meal. We don't eat shrimp so that first course missed us. Second course was actually great. Main entree was so overcooked we couldn't eat it. Owner wanted us to pay $60 each for just eating 6 total pasta balls. That's $20 a pasta ball for those who don't do math well. We left before we got to the pre fixed desert. They didn't even offer it to go, which we asked for. DONT EAT HERE!

I came here for brunch and honestly, it did not impress me. The brunch menu was very boring and very limited. Out of the four dishes we tried, nothing really stood out. There was nothing special that would make me want to come back.
The only good thing about this place is the view — it’s absolutely beautiful. Maybe lunch or dinner is better, but for brunch, I would not return.

Pamplemousse on the Bay offers a beautiful venue for any occasion, with stunning sunset views and a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the Miami skyline. The food is excellent, the atmosphere cozy and inviting, and the service truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

An unforgettable evening at Pamplemousse on the Bay. Amazing food, great drinks, and a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Sitting by the bay on the uncredible terrace and watching the sunset was simply magical. One of those places that stays with you I’d come back without thinking twice.

This restaurant had a private event with a very loud noise level. We were offered sieating outside with no heat lamps and blankets. We did not stay. Awful. Jose

Pamplemousse on the Bay is a really cute little spot with a great vibe, but it is surprisingly hard to find, especially if you are just walking around before a cruise. We went for lunch and the views are beautiful, calm water, boats nearby, and a perfect setting if you want something relaxed before boarding. The waitress was extremely attentive and friendly, which made the experience much better. The only downside is the menu, which is quite limited, so if you are looking for lots of options this may feel restrictive. That said, the atmosphere and scenery make it worth stopping by, especially if you want a peaceful lunch with a view before heading to the port.
