I had heard about Piola by a couple of people, so I decided to check it out. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere. The half carafe of wine is easy for two people to enjoy at dinner. If you are expecting authentic Italian food, don't get your hopes up at Piola. I can't lie, I didn't try the pizza. I did try the meatballs and chicken parmesan with spaghetti. Both dishes were lacking flavor. When it comes to Italian food, the sauce needs to stand out. I think it needed more salt. The meatballs didn't marinate long enough. The chicken parm wasn't exactly fresh tasting. All in all, the experience wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as I had expected it to be. I do want to thank the servers at the South Beach location that have to deal with the craziness that happens on the sidewalk and streets. While I was eating, a guy came in off the street and started bothering a lady that was trying to enjoy some pizza. A server politely asked if she could help the guy and he kept saying, "I'm sorry." However, he wouldn't leave until the server realized he wasn't going to purchase anything. It took about 10 minutes, a free glass of water, and several farewell gestures for the guy to exit the restaurant. The lone woman felt nervous the entire time. She had to have another employee walk her to an Uber because she was scared. Overall, the staff was nice and the food was alright.

This restaurant provides wonderful service and delightful menu. The best place around town. The food and drinks came out rapidly and the rates were inexpensive. Will definitely recommend this place.

This place has an amazing food and even amazing server. The pizza was one of best pizzas I’ve ever had. They have vegan options along with vegan cheese which is a plus. You can customise your order. On Tuesdays they have deals so you can get a pizza for half the price. Placing an online order is super easy. The server that we had was so polite and sweet, she made our experience so much better. It’s hard to see employees who go above and beyond. The owner should be really happy to have her as an employee.The only con of this place is that they don’t let you sub the ingredients. Like subing mozzarella with vegan cheese. Instead you pay extra for the vegan cheese which doesn’t make sense.

!!! BUG FOUND IN PIZZA!!!!I ordered pizza delivery. When I received my pizza the delivery was poor, and I received normal cheese instead of vegan cheese. My girlfriend is highly allergic. I went to talk to the manager Oscar. He attempted to advice me that you shouldn’t risk to order pizza if someone is allergic. We obviously didn’t get a long due to the circumstances. He ended up making my pizza and when I received it I noticed a strange “dirt” and when I asked they said it was “burnt from the oven” I looked further and found a bug inside the broccoli. I went to let them know and they didn’t even wanted to give me a refund and left me with a pizza with dirt and a infected with a bug. Please avoid eating here. Way better piolas in Miami, like Brickell or other pizzerias such as Mister 01.

Do yourself a favor. Don't eat here. Lasagna I ordered seemed to have been heated up in the microwave and served. That didn't bother me as much as advertising in the adjacent parking garage that they would provide complimentary parking with the purchase of an entree and conveniently say that the sign is up but should have been removed months ago. Sure...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Terrible customer service & they got the order entirely wrong. An allergy was completely disregarded and not treated as such. The manager Oscar was very disrespectful & did nothing to make the situation better I highly recommend no one comes here. Save your money & go elsewhere.

My boyfriend and I stopped to pick an order at this place undecided what to order, Carly suggested the ñoquisimo a la bolognesa and Rio de Janeiro which both dishes were delicious. I'll come back soon I really enjoy the food and the service was great!!!

This is the first time I go to this restaurant and I really like it!! I asked for recommendations and the server recommended me the pizza canaregio and the piola meatball, everything was really good, and the service was great!! The server was an Argentinian girl who explained everything and recommended great food. I had the food to go along with some beverages, I will definitely go back!!

$7.00 to go pizzas on Tuesday!! Made in the brick oven the pizzas melt in your mouth they are sooo good. This is my go to on a Tuesday. . The pizzas are a personal size with 4 slices. Thin crust and delicious melted cheese
