Food is very good. Feels like a very local cuban restaurant. So cozy and service is very good. The things that really got me was the coffe. It tastes soooo good. Must try!!!

Puerto Sagua is a classic Cuban spot in South Beach with amazing food and old Miami charm. The ropa vieja and Cuban coffee were perfect. Friendly service, fair prices, and true local flavor — a must-try in Miami.

I’m so glad this veteran restaurant is still around. Best in Miami.
I used to live in Miami Beach 30+ years ago. I came back to visit with my husband and son. The food and the warmth and attentiveness of service was exactly what I remembered. Puerto Sagua is an icon! It was so special to be able to return. I had the picadillo, my husband had palomillo steak, and my son had a Cuban sandwich. Of all the places that have come and gone in Miami Beach, this place is for real. The authentic. Everyone was so kind. The bread is still amazing. There's just nothing like it. Oh and my cortadito was a little sip of heaven.💜 Highly recommend!

We ate Ropa Vieja (similar to the Brazilian dish, Carne Louca) $21, Baby Filet $31 and Porch with rice and black beans $20. All the dishes were ok.

Come here because of its reputation, it is worth recommending!
You get this when you order filet mignon ,and this is real filet mignon…i order garlic srimp and get some greasy sos no garlic and weird flavor, probably weiter make mistake , he run away and send other weiter to close bill , food was messy ,service formal , tips alerdy include , you need to give them 20 % even if you don’t like service and food , …. Welcome to puerto Sagua restaurant.
Bill was 111.85
After taxes , tips included , and fake charges is 148.20$

Oh I just hate to leave a bad review on an iconic staple. But. I had the Cuban sandwich on plain clearly not made in. House and definitely not Cuban bread. Deli sliced ham with little flavor. Not slow roasted pork or in house smoked. Ordered the large it had two tiny pickles slices on each half. Honestly one of the poorest Cuban sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’ve had many in my life. Great historic place with fabulous service. People next to me had the same and were less than thrilled. Hope it improves.
