The experience at this establishment was disheartening. The customer service left much to be desired, with slow and inattentive staff, making the dining experience quite frustrating. Moreover, the quality of the food was subpar; the dishes lacked flavor and freshness, failing to meet even basic expectations. It's unfortunate that such potential in the menu was overshadowed by poor execution. There's definite room for improvement in both service and culinary offerings to meet the standards expected from a dining establishment.

I love this hotel. It’s only 5 minutes away to the beach. The facilities is not that bad. They have 2 pools - rooftop and ground pool. And the unlimited vodka and soda everyday from 5 to 6. The staff are so friendly. Kudos to Diego the Front Desk. He’s assist us for checked in and definitely a genuine care towards everything. Trying to fix our situation with the manager, unfortunately they cannot make it better we still got charge for our duplicate reservation. But anyway, we still enjoy our staycation here and will be back to South Beach and this hotel in near future.

This place was honestly disgusting. Sure, the lobby looks nice, but the rooms were full of dirt, hair everywhere, and there was a literal caterpillar on the wall when we walked in. I will never ever stay in this place again. Was supposed to stay two nights and only stayed one. Couldn’t wait to get out of there

BEWARE!!!! Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September and when we arrived they took a credit card for a deposit against the room which is standard but when I checked my statement a few days after leaving I noticed a charge of $49! I tried calling but couldn’t get through so emailed the manager 3 times with no reply so messaged through booking.com to ask them what this was for, the reply I got a week later was I had items from the mini bar! We didn’t have a single thing from it and hardly spent time at the hotel. I have since messaged again to say we didn’t have anything but the message has been ignored so far. If you decide to stay here take a picture with time stamps on so you can prove you had nothing before they rip anyone else off! When I do go back to Miami I will avoid this company for sure.

The hotel reception staff are friendly, who ask for a positive review on tripadvisor, ok, no problem. However I faced by an unpleasant situation in the hotel. I was charged for items in the minibar that I did not consume. I reported this to the reservations staff but nothing was done. I sent an email to the accommodation manager, but no response. When in Miami Beach, I always stayed at South Beach Group hotels and this had never happened. This was probably the last opportunity.

We arrived and didn't have any toilet paper. The telephone didn't seem to work for the front desk. The TV didn't work (it wouldn't turn on). We spoke with the housekeeping staff, who said they would return later to take the trash and change the towels. We later spoke with the front desk and repeated the same message and arranged to have a technician come and repair the TV. Unfortunately, when we returned later that night, the trash and the dirty towels were still there. We asked at the front desk about it, and were treated to a story about many guests checking out that morning, and the only thing recorded was that the tech had serviced the TV. We voiced complaints about the towels and the trash not being taken care of and were lectured by the night auditor about sending housekeeping away. She at one point told us she didn't want to talk to us anymore, since we were paying guests and should not be surprised to take out our own trash. She also claimed that there were no clean rooms, as even though people had checked out, the rooms hadn't been cleaned. We returned to the room, and discovered the TV still didn't work. Called the front desk, and she said wait a few minutes. We were then moved to another room down the hall where the TV did work, but the mini bar was leaking. finally, we took a short nap as we were checking out early at 4 am for a flight, but heard a loud commotion about 3:30 am outside our door (drunken carrying on). All and all, an enlightening stay.

Catalina is all about Joe. Effervescent personality and great wait service. Helpful with the menu options and provided local tips to enjoy our stay An asset to the restaurant and an ambassador to beach area

The public areas— pools, gardens, rooftops— are great. Super cute and fun! But like everyone else says it’s true… the rooms are gross. Both the elevators are expired so I took the stairs every time. Scary! Just dingy and run down and not taken care of.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at when I checked in the lady at the front desk lacked customer service skills was rude and nasty when I inquired about the $100 a night for the mini bar in the room that I was charged for before I even got a key then she put me in a room where the shower door was missing all to have to be moved twice because the rain flooded the rooms

Upon check in Jefferson and Mariela told us we were eligible for an upgrade for FREE, unfortunately I believe this was just a tactic to give a 5 stat review, I've changed it to a 1 Star upon staying. The room looked appealing upon entering, but we found broken glass in mini fridge, bathroom shower water goes all over, low water pressure, toilet barely flushes, no coffee maker, pool is small and gross, overall cleanliness of facility is gross. Lobby didn't have free morning coffee, but directed us to one of their restaurants with over priced food. They'll also get you for an extra $43 a day for parking. The taco restaurant literally charged $28 for gulf shrimp fajitas, which consisted of maybe a dozen of the smallest frozen bagged baby shrimp and was terrible. Wanna enjoy the free cocktail hour from 5-6, well can't utilize their outside patio seating, inside only. Also plan to put down $100/day damage deposit, refundable in 3-5 days after you depart. I knew we made a mistake booking here the second I pulled into an extra $43/day valet parking. I can see they want to get their hotel up to 5 Stars, but the bait and switch upgrade these two front desk jokers played on us wasn't appreciated. If this room was an upgrade I feel sorry for those who stay here who aren't upgraded, as their rooms are truly worse than ours. Our room was on the 2nd floor of the taco restaurant building which also meant we got to listen to the people above us, floors must be paper thin. Elevator was tiny small and common hallways smelled musky. Carpet obviously hadn't been cleaned in awhile. You can tell that cleanliness is not a priority throughout this facility. The room had a decent smart TV, but no one has signed into them allowing users to fully utilize the features or download free TV apps. You'll need to adjust the volume up everytime the air conditioner turns on because it drowns out the sound. It appears that the hotel spent money a few years ago to modernize our room, but it really is cosmetic only. The mini fridge was tiny, didn't hold temp and leaked water on the floor. We removed the contents (that's when we found broken glass) and used it for our own beverages, no freezer in unit. Lastly, remember you get what you pay for, so if you really want to enjoy your visit to Miami beach, consider another option.

Worst experience ever. Bad bad bad. Rooms are filthy. Rats & roaches everywhere. AC never works. Bugs on the bed, bathroom disgusting. Towels are never clean, always other people hair on it. I don't understand why this hotel is even operational. Keys? You'll be at the front desk 100 times to get new room keys made. Manager Gabriella, trash ?. Terrible, Terrible attitude. Rude & disrespectful. Doesn't quite know what customer service is.
