Nice outdoor setting. Average Turkish comfort food. Little lacking in flavour..Hummus, beef doner, lamb casserole and beef stew. Rice was interesting. Similarly the baklava also lack flavor: just sweet filo.
every time we take friends and guests to El Turco - the better it gets !....besides an interesting menu and great wines, the staff is always welcoming and friendly - regardless of experience......and the management is totally attentive.....best - the setting in Upper Buena Vista is an only in Miami experience.......please get out of your comfortable zip codes and come to EL Turco !
I visited this spot after seeing its Michelin recognition and was curious to see what the buzz was about. Overall, the food had good flavor, but a few details left me wanting more. I was especially looking forward to the bread, expecting it to be warm and fresh like at other top Mediterranean places, but it arrived cold and did not quite deliver that comforting start.
