Rum Room Miami Beach

We wandered in to The Rum Room and were a bit worried because it was not busy but it ended up being one of the best meals we have had in a very long time. From Christian, the bar tender's mojitos, Old Cuban's and Mai Tais to Chef's AMAZING mofungo and churrasco chimichurri everything exceeded expectation. We were blown away! Can't wait to go back!

We all got different entrees and they were all delicious. The mash potatoes and rice were amazing. The music was the vibe. Great singer.

For South beach happy hour standards this restaurant was very much worth the trip. Ordered the Yuca fires plus the Ceviche. Both appetizers were sensible potions with lots of flavor. The drinks were very well balanced and packed a punch. I would absolutely go back when it’s more lively, happy hour or not. Staff was very attentive and friendly (which is hard to find in south beach).

Came in for Miami spice. Empty restaurant on a Saturday evening, but no idea why. Food was great, the space is nice. Live music was excellent. The service was great. Fish nachos were a bit oversalty (smoked salmon and a salty cheese) but otherwise everything was perfect. Yuca mofongo was slammin’. Highly recommend.

We had a perfect evening and wonderful dinner. The vegan calamari were amazing, the churrasco on the point and so delicious.
It was not very frequented this evening which gave us a kind of VIP impression.

We (my sister, Belkys and I) had an exceptional dining experience that deserves the highest praise. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The flavors were both comforting and inventive, showcasing a clear mastery of technique and creativity.

Special recognition goes to the chef, Jean, whose culinary vision and attention to detail made the meal truly unforgettable. From start to finish, it was evident that Jean pours heart, skill, and passion into every plate.

The atmosphere was made even more special by the live music of Daniela, whose voice and presence added warmth, soul, and a perfect touch of elegance. Her performance created a vibrant and inviting energy that made the night feel truly unforgettable.

Sebastian and his stellar colleagues orchestrated our evening with the finesse of seasoned maestros. Sebastian in particular was a standout — poised, passionate, and effortlessly charming. Had a great evening at Rum Room! The atmosphere is warm and inviting — stylish without feeling too formal. The lighting and music set the tone perfectly for a relaxed dinner. Big shoutout to Sebastian and his team — super attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. It's clear they really care about creating a great experience. We started with the coconut calamari, which was a standout — light, crispy, and full of flavor with a tropical twist. For the main, I went with the ribeye steak — cooked just right (medium rare as ordered) and incredibly tender. The sides and sauces complemented it nicely without overpowering the meat. Overall, the food and service made it well worth the visit. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for quality dining with great vibes!

Stopped by for dinner on a Friday and was really impressed by the food, atmosphere and service. Alex was very friendly and the rum drinks were very good. There was a live singer and the couches were a comfortable place to talk and enjoy some cocktails.
