I had the opportunity to have dinner last night at Silverlake bistro, a local restaurant to me that has great reviews. The atmosphere and service were great, the food was good, with the exception of the branzino being a little overcooked and the prawns being a single prawn, where two prawns would have been a better dinner portion for the price. The crêpe dessert was fantastic.

We arrived at 9:45 PM, which was the last available reservation time. As soon as we sat down, we were told we had to place our entire order immediately and that no specials were available. Then, when we tried to order the tarte flambée, we were told it was too late for that as well — and the chicken wasn’t available either. I don’t understand why a restaurant accepts reservations at 9:45 PM if guests can’t enjoy the full dining experience.

One of our favorite neighborhood spots! Silver Lake Bistro has become our go to place for a quick date night or an easy casual dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed but still feels special, and the food never misses. We love that we can bring our own bottle of wine it makes every visit feel more personal and fun. The burger, steak frites, and chicken are all insane perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and consistently amazing. It is the kind of spot that makes you grateful for great neighborhood restaurants. Friendly service, incredible food, and an easy comfortable vibe that keeps us coming back every week.

Came here for their infamous burger, and it was worth the hype! Best burger in Miami I’ve had so far. We also tried the heirloom carrots and veal meatballs per their recommendations and they were both excellent. Atmosphere is also very nice and the service was awesome (shoutout to Leo!) Looking forward to coming back to try other entrées.

I'm in love with this restaurant and can't wait to come back here again. We were there just a few days ago for dinner. The food was fantastic and the decor is so heartwarming and cozy/comfortable! Even the dinnerware was special with 2 adorable coyotes handpainted on it to add even more charm to your dining experience. Everything has been carefully thought out to make this restaurant stand out from all the others. Pride of ownership definitely shows throughout.
The service was outstanding by Leo, who warmly greeted us at the entrance and let us choose where we would like to sit and got us started with our water glasses, complimentary bread plate, and food recommendations. He was a gem and a hardworker catering to other guests also, but never forgot us.
We also were impressed by the cordial and prompt service performed by Ximena. She was happy to answer all questions and also had great menu recommendations. Her smile was delightful!
We both ordered the same things. For the appetizer, we shared the Baked Vacherin, which was just amazing! It was a crusty loaf of bread with hot baked cheese for the spread. So good! It came straight from the oven with steam rolling off the top of the cheese dish with honey that you dribble over it. I have never had that dish before but I want it again! For the main entree, we chose Pork Chop a la Creme. This was the Chef's kiss! I have never had such delicious pork chops in my life. Accompanied with their special creamy sauce and Polenta and greens. We were both nodding our heads at how delicious our dinner was. The portions were generous and we saved half to take home in order to save room for dessert. For dessert, we had the Traditional Salted Butter Crepe that we shared. It was wonderful with powdered sugar and creamy vanilla ice cream that melted over the crepe. We thought we died and went to heaven. Wow, what a great meal! Perfection.
There was nice dining music playing and the guests were all happy and chatting. There is also great outdoor seating in the front of the restaurant but it was too hot outside to do it that day. We enjoyed our experience and will be back soon. We were lucky to park in the front on the street. I highly recommend this awesome restaurant!

Gave this place a second chance after a disappointing service experience ~2yrs ago. Everything was top notch, much more consistent with the very strong reviews that it typically gets.
Food was excellent from start to finish. The main menu has many good options. We went with the Mussels and a green salad to start and finished with a 14oz Wagyu special which was very reasonably priced.
Our server was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
