Amazing experience, the food and the service was great. Our waiters Jose and Diego made us feel special celebrating our anniversary.

We’ve been to this Smith & Wollensky and their counterparts in other cities before and had great experiences. This was years ago. Decided to give it another try and made a reservation. The hostess walked us to our table without any menus. We sat and waited 20 minutes before walking out. Neither servers that were serving tables to our sides even asked us if we’ve been helped. Luckily, this is Miami with plenty of other options that will take us and our money in with open arms and a smile….and menus.

This is a top spot for waterside fine dining. The views and atmosphere are fantastic, quiet and intimate, and the service was fenomenal, from the hostess to the bartender who made the best mojitos I’ve ever had, and our waitress was great. The food was so flavorful every single plate was 10/10 and we eat out a lot. We got the carpaccio, octopus, filet mignon, duck confit, for dessert the apple crumble and crème brûlée. Even the table bread was to die for. Total for the three of us was short of $400 and we algo got 4-5 drinks total. Amazing night.

Miguel and Eugene are the best professional waiters and the best conversationalists in the restaurant. A touch of European class. Great sense of humor. Signature Smith and Wollensky salad is my choice if you are not sure what you feel like. 😎

Went tonight for a special event with my wife in miami. So excited because we use to go to the NYC’ one …. What a disaponting. Food was so under the expérience in NYC, and what about the service…. Forget orders, come 25mn after notice them that they forgot us (wine, not Such a big deal but when you have finished you meal… no need to have your drink… Even if it’s from the House, Thank you for that, but too late. We were the table of 2, on the right of the terrasse close to the water.
They judge that we’re not consume enough to have a good service (unfortunately, we heard them talking about that.)

2 meals, 1 bottle of water and 1 dessert -> 250$ + 50$ tips.
When the Check come, they kind of force us to Make tips way more than it should be. And when we we’re still at the table to finish, they maked us understand that they wants us to leave … quickly quickly … all the tables were still dirty & some tables still book with customers.
We work in hospitality service for 20 years (including in 1* & 2* stars restaurant in France & US) we own & run 4 places now, and used to go to Michelin star restaurant often, so we know « how it works ».
So if you dont have 1000$ for 2 you gonna be treat like hobos. Defintely not worth it.
Meal was ok, outside places was amazing. But service was horrible. We are not used to write bad commentary about restaurants, but tonight; truth has to be tell.
Find an other place if you want to have a good restaurant experience.

Excellent restaurant and amazing location in Miami Beach. This may be one of the best restaurant views in Miami and the world. It is next to the Government Cut channel. As such you can closely watch all of the cruise and commercial ships enter and exit the port of Miami.

The prices are high, but the quality of the food and drinks is excellent and consistent. The views make it well worth it for a dream dinner or lunch.

Make sure to arrive early to put your name on the list for an outdoor table. There are no reservations for the outside tables.

This is a must visit in Florida and worth the investment.

Iconic steakhouse, inconsistent reality. Prime South Pointe waterfront & killer views are real pros 👍, and steaks can be great — but slow service, hit‑or‑miss food execution, premium pricing, and odd service lapses make the experience feel overpriced for what you actually get. Some nights are classic; others feel sloppy. 🤷‍♂️🥩🌅
