We have had several opportunities to dine at Smith & Wollensky during our travels in the United States, previously it had been very pleasant, unfortunately last night instead almost everything went wrong: long wait to receive the dishes, a lot of noise but above all the meat was not at all as good as before. We hope it was just a bad evening. The only positive note was the professionalism and kindness of the waitress

This was our second visit to the Miami Beach location. Food was reliably excellent, especially the 38 oz Wagyu porterhouse that we shared. Unfortunately, it was a crowded Friday night. The valet was full and we couldn't get outdoor seating, so we were stuck in the corner of a small, tired dining room on the 2nd floor.

It was a great experience as usual. The food and setting was outstanding. The service was not up to par because our server had another party of six.

The experience was terrible from the reception where the girl accompanied us to the tables outside and then told us that if we wanted the place there we had to wait 1 hour (we had booked) until the peak at the time of payment where they do not accept Apple Pay and only want physical card. I was forced to go back to the hotel to get it to be able to pay in 2025!

Highlights, great food, good service and the place was spotless.

Lowlights, It was difficult to pay because their PoS was from the 90s they only process Cards through magnetic bands no chip, no contactless and don't even think about Apple pay.
They only sell Pepsi and I wanted Coca-Cola.

The dog was annoying barking loudly again I have to change the table the manager did nothing! It seems they are busy and the manager don’t care even the food quality is down ! I had a wonderful experience at Smith & Wollensky around the Thanksgiving holiday this year. I sat at the bar and was attended by the lovely bartender, Genie. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel so welcome. Genie provided excellent drink recommendations tailored to my tastes and was incredibly attentive throughout. Her friendly demeanor elevated the whole experience. Genie really went above and beyond, making sure I was always taken care of without ever being intrusive. Her professionalism and charm made my visit unforgettable. I can’t wait to return!

Terrible experience at Smith & Wollensky Miami. We came as a group of friends to enjoy drinks at the bar overlooking the beach. Ordered 4 cocktails ($20 per glass to drink standing in the street), and the bartender, an older, gray-haired man in his 50s-60s, was rude from the start. He immediately said they didn’t offer non-alcoholic cocktails and acted annoyed with every request. On top of that, they didn’t accept contactless payment, which we discovered only after ordering—a basic convenience these days. We had to search for a physical card, and he still didn’t respond, thank us, or show any courtesy. The place was overcrowded, making it impossible to enjoy a drink. Avoid at all costs—overpriced, rude staff, and zero hospitality.
